Harold Burke's shop in Coleraine reopened

I was delighted to see Harold Burke's old gun shop on the Long
Commons in Coleraine open again, don't know if it is still
family owned or taken over but the clay loads were very
competitively priced :), in fact they were considerably lower
than any of those that I know :o. The shop has had a make over
with a bit of room to look around. they deserve to be supported.

I heard it was bein run by his son/s -- a mate was in it over
the hols and priced shells in it and said they were very good on
their prices although it may have been old stock - but still !

Old Harold was a gent, I spent many hours just trying to get out
of his shop, one thing I don't think we could accuse him of was
low cartridge prices.

Did he have a reputation for being expensive?
