Thank you lynne.. my favorite is the first buzzard pic. it was |
|
taken hand-held, the bird was hunting in a meadow, i set the |
|
camera for 5 photos a sec.. but it was'nt easy as the camera and |
|
500mm lens is very very heavy, and no time to set up my tripod, |
|
so i'm quite happy with the result... |

Yesterday was Cuckoo time, we saw three together, then one being |
|
mobbed by a Meadow pipit.. the birds went a few times to the |
|
ground.. unfortunatly they were too far for the lens I was |
|
using, so no pics of them.. |
|
I searched for the Whitethroat again, but no luck, but I did get |
|
another Sedge warbler, so a few pics of it, then the rain |
|
stopped play.. As I was leaving Muirsheil county park, I noticed |
|
a Common Buzzard sitting at the top of a tree, so a few pics of |
|
that bird.. |
|
Then it was off to Roebank res.. there I got Canada geese, but |
|
no Great crested grebes .. |
