| [Planet] Draconia | |
| By: Shane Date: August 19, 2013, 9:22 am | |
| --------------------------------------------------------- | |
| Draconia is a planet that is so far away from Earth, that it | |
| would take 999 centillion light years just to get between the | |
| two planets. It lies between Elvania and Sylraphia. A size | |
| comparison shows that Draconia is as large as sixteen Jupiters | |
| (the planet, of course). Draconia is similar to Earth in many | |
| ways, however, the sky of Draconia is green in most areas of the | |
| planet, and in those same areas, the grass is red. Draconia's | |
| atmosphere is mostly similar to that of Earth, as well. The | |
| planet is in the Darii galaxy. | |
| [hr]THE KARJAMIAN CLIFFS: | |
| 4024 years ago, a major world war broke out in Draconia. | |
| Officially, it's known as the Devastating War, but has been | |
| named "The Battle between Boys, Girls and None". All the deities | |
| of Draconia had fought each other, in teams: the boys, versus | |
| the girls, versus the genderless - the genderless gods and | |
| goddesses are often depicted as having a gender, even though | |
| they're genderless. The boys and girls were evenly matched; | |
| however, the genderless ones weren't - they had used objects to | |
| their advantage. This war got so out of hand that even the | |
| Inhumans were affected by it, which resulted in a war between | |
| continents, which contributed to Venas' toxic air. | |
| This all forced a red being calling himself the "Red Karjam" to | |
| interfere. Using his swords, he caused massive destruction to | |
| the planet that formed mysterious black cliffs! This was enough | |
| to force the deities of Draconia to focus their attention on him | |
| instead, and this also stopped the war between the continents. | |
| The deities stood together and thought long and hard to defeat | |
| the Red Karjam, but after twenty-five years of intense battling, | |
| the Red Karjam laughed. He laughed so hard that it caused an | |
| earthquake on Clorensia and Sylraphia. The Red Karjam threw his | |
| sword to Cirai, and ordered the deities to not fight among | |
| themselves, lest he causes more havoc on Draconia. The blackness | |
| are called the Karjamian Cliffs, in honour of the Red Karjam who | |
| stopped the war. Even though he caused destruction to the | |
| beautiful planet, he is heralded as a hero. | |
| (The Karjamian Cliffs are based on the Granacliffs | |
| http://grandia.wikia.com/wiki/Granacliffs.) | |
| [hr]THE NORTHERN PART OF DRACONIA: | |
| * The main continent of the planet is Draconia (drah-cou-nie-a), | |
| ruled by the ruthless King Jrailran and the equally ruthless | |
| Queen Sue-Ann Tyranto. The Draconia continent has green grass | |
| and blue skies, usually. | |
| * The continent of Venas (vhen-ahs), which is the closest | |
| continent, is full of poisonous swamps that have a toxic gas | |
| instead of oxygen. As a result, everyone from Venas wear gas | |
| masks or biohazard suits even if they visit other continents or | |
| planets. Somehow, the people eat, sleep, get married and even | |
| study while wearing those. The toxic swamps are because of wars, | |
| although the Kingdom of Venasens is the only place without the | |
| deadly swamp. Queen Rachel is scared of hazmat suits and gas | |
| masks, as well. | |
| * The continent of C'est Ianire (se-st ie-an-iur) is home to the | |
| Ethende Wizardry School, and also where the rich Alain family | |
| lives. In addition, the Ruined Castle of Illaina (Ie-lai-na) is | |
| located here. The ruler of the continent, Silvia, is known for | |
| her snow castle and also her generosity. | |
| * Rukhundria (rue-kun-drii-a) is a cursed island. Volcanic ash | |
| and thick smoke make it a dangerous place, as the smoke is toxic | |
| to inhale, and the ash is always scorching hot. The cursed | |
| castle’s master is the Rukhundrian King. Nothing is known | |
| about him, other than that his name is Irks. | |
| * Reian Iar Laizuzia (ry-an i-ar ly-zu-zi-a) is the name of the | |
| Five Islands of Sjane, the Draconian goddess of Combinations, | |
| who is represented by Ice and Light. The Reian Iar Laizuzian | |
| village is the only one there. The only way between islands is | |
| through the tunnel system. There is said to be a way up to | |
| Sjane’s Sky Tower, but it is unknown whether this is true. | |
| * Ganairajia Mianui (gun-ay-rah-jii-a me-a-knoei) is a desert | |
| island that is almost split in two – the mountains are too | |
| dangerous, and there’s a mysterious hole between two towns | |
| that prevents anyone from crossing. As such, Ganairaijians | |
| Mianuians who are trapped use secret teleportation abilities. | |
| * Gloviastokia (glo-vi-a-sto-ki-a) is split into two countries, | |
| where its name is (sort of) combined: Gluevia (glu-vi-a) and | |
| Stokliangia (sto-klie-an-gi-a). Both countries are, for some | |
| reason, named after articles of clothing. The southern county, | |
| Gluevians are known for their ability to love anyone, and thus | |
| nobody there fights each other. It's also a cold country. The | |
| warm, northern country, Stokliangians are known for their | |
| fashion, and recently they’ve begun to combine this with | |
| their armor. It is unknown how they do this. | |
| * Boingaroonia (boi-ng-a-roo-ni-a) is one of the two continents | |
| that have been greatly affected by the Devastating War 4024 | |
| years ago, as it has almost being cleaved in half. It is famous | |
| for the Temple of the Deities, where many of Draconia’s | |
| deities reside in their free time (how they have free time, is | |
| unknown), and also the Ruins of Altimaan Airaniku (alt-i-maa-n | |
| air-a-nie-ku), which was destroyed by the war. Boingaroonians | |
| are famous for their anthem: the entire anthem consists of | |
| “Boingaroo” which is weird. It is assumed that this | |
| is their deity, but researchers couldn’t find anything | |
| out. Some say the continent is shaped like a weird-looking shoe. | |
| * Tiaria (ti-a-ri-a) is named after the jeweled headdress known | |
| as a “tiara”. It is unknown why. In any case, Tiaria | |
| was literally cleaved in half by the Karjamian Cliffs, creating | |
| two countries: the snowy Anademdia (an-ad-em-di-a) and the sunny | |
| Diademdia (di-ad-em-di-a). The queen of Anademdia, an elf, lives | |
| in the forest. There are two monarchs in Diademdia, fighting | |
| over land. One is Il’andri’iel (ill-an-drii-iel), | |
| king of the Dark Forest, and a Dark Elf, and the other is the | |
| scary Keira, who always wore a gas mask since she was 10 and | |
| never removed it. Diademdia is warm while Anademdia is cold. | |
| [hr]DATES AND MONTHS: | |
| Draconian months are twice as long as Surfacian months. And as | |
| Draconia has 12 months, this would mean that Draconian years are | |
| longer than Surfacian years. | |
| Surfacian Months: January, February, March, April, May, June, | |
| July, August, September, October, November, December. | |
| Draconian Months: Cirairaphia, Glorpensia, Surconia, Karjarova, | |
| Hellixia, Heavixia, Kianixia, Aralixia, Sparkvenom, Quakehydro, | |
| Frostember, Lightchaos | |
| Cirairaphia: January + February (Surfacian year 1; 59 days on | |
| normal years, 60 days on Surfacian leap years) | |
| Glorpensia: March + April (Surfacian year 1; 61 days) | |
| Surconia: May + June (Surfacian year 1; 61 days) | |
| Karjarova: July + August (Surfacian year 1; 62 days) | |
| Hellixia: September + October (Surfacian year 1; 61 days) | |
| Heavixia: November + December (Surfacian year 1; 61 days) | |
| Kianixia: January + February (Surfacian year 2; 59 days on | |
| normal years, 60 days on Surfacian leap years) | |
| Aralixia: March + April (Surfacian year 2; 61 days) | |
| Sparkvenom: May + June (Surfacian year 2; 61 days) | |
| Quakehydro: July + August (Surfacian year 2; 62 days) | |
| Frostember: September + October (Surfacian year 2; 61 days) | |
| Lightchaos: November + December (Surfacian year 2; 61 days) | |
| One Draconian year is two Surfacian years. It is unknown how the | |
| time of day is unaffected, however, as Draconian time is the | |
| same as Surfacian time (24 hours in a day). | |
| Draconian days are somehow similar to Surfacian days too - if | |
| Surfacia is in a leap year, then either Cirairaphia or Kianixia | |
| gets an extra day. | |
| If it's a leap year on Surfacia while it's Cirairaphia on | |
| Draconia, Cirairaphia gets an extra day. | |
| However, if Surfacia's leap year is in the same time as it is | |
| Kianixia on Draconia, Kianixia gets the extra day. | |
| For some strange reason, everyone on Draconia has two birthdays, | |
| however. | |
| For example, Jrailran's birthday in Surfacian time would be 15 | |
| August. Sue-Ann's birthday, also in Surfacian time, would be 28 | |
| February. | |
| Jrailran's Draconian birthdays are 46 Karjarova and 46 | |
| Quakehydro while Sue-Ann's Draconian birthdays are on 59 | |
| Cirairaphia and 59 Kianixia. | |
| [hr]CURRENCY: | |
| The global currency are coins. However, the sheer amount of | |
| coins available for Draconians to use is insane. Monsters tend | |
| to drop Soul Coins and Soul Dollars. | |
| 100 Soul Dollars = 1 Soul Coin | |
| 100 Soul Coins = 1 Inferno Coin | |
| 100 Inferno Coins = 1 Venom Coin | |
| 100 Venom Coins = 1 Lightning Coin | |
| 100 Lightning Coins = 1 Blizzard Coin | |
| 100 Blizzard Coins = 1 Plastic Coin | |
| 100 Plastic Coins = 1 Paper Coin | |
| 100 Paper Coins = 1 Wooden Coin | |
| 100 Wooden Coins = 1 Stone Coin | |
| 100 Stone Coins = 1 Copper Coin | |
| 100 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin | |
| 100 Silver Coins = 1 Golden Coin | |
| 100 Golden Coins = 1 Platinum Coin | |
| 100 Platinum Coins = 1 Amethyst Coin | |
| 100 Amethyst Coins = 1 Citrine Coin | |
| 100 Citrine Coins = 1 Topaz Coin | |
| 100 Topaz Coins = 1 Sapphire Coin | |
| 100 Sapphire Coins = 1 Ruby Coin | |
| 100 Ruby Coins = 1 Emerald Coin | |
| 100 Emerald Coins = 1 Diamond Coin | |
| 100 Diamond Coins = 1 Key Coin | |
| 100 Key Coins = 1 Heart Coin | |
| 100 Heart Coins = 1 Polar Coin | |
| 100 Polar Coins = 1 Solar Coin | |
| 100 Solar Coins = 1 Lunar Coin | |
| 100 Lunar Coins = 1 Astral Coin | |
| 100 Astral Coins = 1 Cobalt Coin | |
| 100 Cobalt Coins = 1 Mythril Coin | |
| 100 Mythril Coins = 1 Adamantite Coin | |
| 100 Adamantite Coins = 1 Hallowed Coin | |
| [hr]PANTHEON: | |
| Draconia has its own deities that are practically known all over | |
| the Darii galaxy. If they die somehow, they end up at their own | |
| secret base, which was once rumored to be in Karjam's Domain | |
| (before that rumor has been proven false). In their secret base, | |
| they rest for one Surfacian year (i.e. half a Draconian year) | |
| before they are revived. Some of them have last names, which | |
| came from before their ascension. | |
| Valkili: the Draconian goddess of Light, and also the queen of | |
| the Draconian Pantheon. | |
| Cheryl: the Draconian goddess of Nature. She enchanted a | |
| continent to be entirely immune to destruction. However, when | |
| Annelie is on the continent, or Cheryl is dead, her enchantment | |
| is negated. | |
| Annelie du Preez: the Draconian goddess of Toxins. She likes all | |
| things toxic. Prior to becoming a goddess, she used to be an | |
| Inhuman from the Venas continent, but as of her 19[sup]th[/sup] | |
| birthday, she ascended thanks to a deal made by Valkili. | |
| Abigail: the Draconian goddess of Blood. Her clothing is always | |
| blood-stained. However, she uses the Blood element mostly for | |
| healing. | |
| Ariel: the Draconian goddess of Water. She hates her name, | |
| however, and she hates Surfacians for the same reason. | |
| Tiamat: the Draconian goddess of Dimensions. She usually goes by | |
| "Tia" as some people are too lazy to call her "Tiamat". She is | |
| immune to the effects of ragestone. Her ascension came from the | |
| Demon Crown, which had no negative effects on her. She was also | |
| born on Surfacia, in Persia. It is unknown whether she has a | |
| last name. | |
| Melissa: the Draconian goddess of Life. She can tell the | |
| histories and ancestries of other people. She is married to | |
| Brandon and has a daughter named Elizabeth. | |
| Raven: the Draconian goddess of Death and Darkness. She is a | |
| very shy person, and she also has a good heart. She wields a | |
| scythe in combat, but her scythe tends to be alive. | |
| Elizabeth: the Draconian goddess of Fortune. She is easily | |
| excited. Her mother is Melissa, and her father is Brandon. | |
| Sjane Handschuhklinge: the Draconian goddess of Combinations. | |
| She is also Kim Tyranto's sister-in-law, as she was married to | |
| Seth Tyranto before ascending on her 19[sup]th[/sup] birthday. | |
| She was part Inhuman and part human, despite her parents being | |
| 100% Inhuman. | |
| Trucy: the Draconian goddess of Truth. She always finds the | |
| truth. The only times she has ever lied was when it involves | |
| surprise parties, however. | |
| Lea: the Draconian goddess of Lies. She always lies to everyone | |
| who isn't in the Pantheon, although those who find the truth are | |
| usually rewarded in some way. | |
| Sadie: the Draconian goddess of the Elements. She controls all | |
| 45 elements, and has 45 forms because of this. However, she is | |
| most commonly in her Cuteness form. | |
| Yui Katakijin: the Draconian goddess of Beauty. Everyone agrees | |
| that Yui is too cute to murder in cold blood. | |
| Ellen: the Draconian goddess of Ice. There's a certain Surfacian | |
| Inhuman who she likes a lot, but she's too shy to talk to him. | |
| In any case, she helps him out every now and then, without him | |
| even knowing it. | |
| Michelle: the Draconian goddess of Fire. She is a hotheaded lass | |
| who helps out the Draconian royal family as much as she can. | |
| Violet: the Draconian goddess of Heart. Her kind heart is what | |
| helps those who control the element of Heart to persevere. | |
| Kimunezā: the Draconian goddess of the Netherworld. She is | |
| the one who helps keep the peace between the forces of the | |
| Netherworld and those of the Overworld. | |
| Mā'usa Laṛakī: the Draconian goddess of Rodents. | |
| Her real name is Marian la Grange. She ascended on her | |
| 19[sup]th[/sup] birthday after she was attacked by an army of | |
| mice. | |
| Adrian: the Draconian god of Discovery. He is the most observant | |
| one of the Pantheon, being able to see even things that most | |
| people wouldn't notice. | |
| Brandon: the Draconian god of War. He believes that the people | |
| of the Venas continent enjoy making his job boring. He is | |
| married to Melissa, and has a daughter named Elizabeth. | |
| Clark: the Draconian god of Idiocy, Insults and Pranks. He | |
| doesn't really care if anybody mocks him. However, he is also | |
| very active, unlike his brother Jason. | |
| Easukai: the Draconian god of the Sky. He usually flies around | |
| having fun, and hates work. | |
| Firippurandamu: the Draconian god of Blah. The only word he can | |
| say out loud is "Blah". But he can speak using telepathy. | |
| Jason: the Draconian god of Laziness and Randomness. Nothing he | |
| says ever makes sense at first, and he tends to spend his time | |
| sleeping a lot. | |
| Kalios: the Draconian god of Paper. He secretly believes that | |
| Valkili is insane, but he also complains about Paper being an | |
| element. | |
| Oliver: the Draconian god of Poetry, Literature, Comics and | |
| Speech. He pronounces his own name as "ol-li-vuar". | |
| Pierre Pierre: the Draconian god of Pizzas. His first name is | |
| the same as his last name. He ascended on his 19[sup]th[/sup] | |
| birthday while in hospital due to being poisoned... by pizza. | |
| Riaan: the Draconian god of Languages. He speaks all known | |
| languages, and his favourite language is Afrikaans. However, few | |
| understand it. | |
| Shēnsupāku: the Draconian god of Lightning. He is | |
| faster than lightning but slower than light. He always loses to | |
| Valkili. | |
| Zhāngjindōng: the Draconian god of Ninjutsu. All | |
| ninjas bow down before him in hopes of learning new techniques. | |
| Azandion: the Draconian god of Monsters. Monsters that are slain | |
| return to Azandion's domain, where they recuperate and prepare | |
| for another assault on Draconia. However, Azandion claims that | |
| they are just trying to survive and fit in. | |
| Cherīburossamuhātoeiku: the Draconian goddess of | |
| cherry-blossoms. It usually uses illusions to make people think | |
| that they've been poisoned by eating cherries. | |
| Mani: the Draconian god of Machinery. It always emphasizes | |
| random words. | |
| Wealthia: the Draconian goddess of Wealth. It takes on the | |
| appearance of a stoic lady with an obsession of wearing formal | |
| clothes. | |
| [hr] | |
| Nothing else is known about Draconia at this time. More | |
| information shall be added as it is discovered. | |
