2a gearbox

second gear on the 88 has just started jumping out.easy fix? if
left will it cause more trouble?or should i just rebuild it now

I would fix it earlier than later, depending on the cause it may
be damaging other parts.
I just rebuilt on that lost some parts and only driven a few
miles after issues started and you could see where the gears had
rubbed together.
This is what I found in the gearbox when I stripped it

On mine it was down to the rear mainshaft nut coming loose -
easy enough to check by taking off the top cover on the transfer
box (or removing the overdrive if you have one).
