Hi all,
Its been a while since I last posted but looking at my landy
today I thought I would treat it!!!
But while making a list I wondered where to look first. Now I
have used many suppliers over the years.
Craddocks, Paddocks, jgs4x4, Lune Valley 4x4, ect
But I thought id open a post for peoples good experiences. (and
bad for whom to ignore not bitch about)
Now I really don't like Britpart I think I would like a supplier
where I don't need to search and make sure it isn't brit, but
what's the best alternative? Bearmark?
I thought it may need sectioning;
General Parts
I don't really know who's good or bad I have good experiences
with a few to be fair.
JGS4x4?

Richards chassis were brilliant with me. I collected and got a
conducted tour and a free bumper from the MD. He was very
passionate about making a good product. If I remember rightly he
was called Alistair, nice chap!

Automec are good for brake pipe sets
Dunsfold are food for those hard to find series parts. Mostly
genuine.

I'll second that from Blanchards. Good friendly service and they
have always had what I wanted in stock.

Steve Parkers have done my rear wheel bearings, then post lock
down I had electrical woes and they very kindly put me onto a
very patient auto electrician who put to rights my erratic 24v
Lights and horn.

Britpart supply a variety of qualities and if you go for their
OEM or Genuine options, they are as good as anyone else! I have
had Bearmach parts that are no good, and some genuine Land Rover
parts too over the years.
Craddocks have come in for some criticism recently regarding
quality of service, but I have had no problems even during our
current 'situation'.
Paddocks service has been OK too.
If you use 'Britcar', they also give options on a lot of parts
between Genuine, OEM and 'pattern' - you only get what you pay
for!
