Micronational efforts to cut CO2 emmissions
By: Covanese Republic Date: October 23, 2014, 5:08 am

Covanellis is currently undergoing the process of designing a
new way to generate energy that might enable us to completely
cut CO2 emissions from energy consumption. We also have plans to
initiate a "1 million trees" project once secession has been
achieved, in order to capture an amount of the CO2 we do emit.
We will also haven trick laws on CO2 emissions from private
companies, stating that CO2 emissions must be contained and used
in the production of carbon fibre, or diverted to special
government containment areas (where it will be converted into
carbon fibre for building).
What about the other Micronation on these forums? How does your
micronation intend to cut carbon emissions, but still keep your
nation up-to-date technology and quality-of-life wise?

I have some old school interesting ways to cut on CO2 emissions,
all to be done when we achieve independence
First of all, living old school ;D
Second of all, I want to legalize the use of horses in the
capital city to reduce car use, and be keen on having electric
cars too, once they can be imported
Third, although having industries, rely also on artisanal
production to cut on CO2 emissions
As Trebia is expected to be an agriculture-based nation, we will
find ways to make a sustainable farming method. We will employ
crop rotation, organic fertilizers and pesticides, canals, and
other interesting techniques. I am already considering
hydroponics.
