Album storage??

Ok...with four kids a husband and a dog and a love for taking
photos and all things scrappy I bet you can guess I have a ton
of completed albums. Especially since my kids are almost all
grown. My question is where do you store them? And do you have a
disaster plan. What I mean by that is I have heard that people
keep them by their door things like that so they can easily save
them in case of fire or flood.
I would love to hear what clever storage ideas you guys have.

Mine are on the floor under the crop table. If I have time, my
plan is to pull down curtains and put them on it and toss out
window! LOL If that doesn't work, most of my pics are probably
in the cloud somewhere. I can start over!

Mine are in the den with a couple by my scrappy desk to throw
new ones in. I have mini albums in a basket in the living room
just in case anyone wants to look at them. I have all my pages
on computers and back ups - so they will probably what I'll save
if there's time.

I have most of the big albums on a shelving unit ---conveniently
located near the door. Not by plan originally, but for the
sake of sounding really cool and put together for this post -
YES I DO!! I have mini albums in a basket as well, just in
case anyone wants to peruse.

I have mine in an Expedit by IKEA. I only have the
WeRMemorykeepers 3 ring albums and they fit in there perfectly.

Mine are stacked by my fireplace in the great room, because that
is where family gathers at holidays and they usually pull out
the albums. I am looking for a better solution. I am so not
organized but I am hoping to be someday.
