Holy crap, that's amazing! Proving that 2012 wasn't a fluke. |
|
People are pretty high on our starter Eddie Smink, saying he |
|
could be a draft candidate, he just went 5 innings with 1 ER and |
|
7 Ks against the 2nd-ranked team in the country as a sophomore. |
|
LSU's never inviting us back to their place ever again after |
|
this one. When was the last time we beat multiple P5 schools in |
|
a season? |

|
Any �NIL� money going to any of these players from the 1957 |
|
club? Baseballl, womens BB and the women's lacrosse players |
|
probably deserve a piece of that pie more than any. As flawed as |
|
the NIL concept is, I certainly hope those funds are being |
|
allocated to the programs that deserve it. |

LSU fans on Twitter are insufferable. They've completely |
|
bombarded our page, treating the fact that they won the second |
|
game like their World Series and are super mad at one of our |
|
players for doing one of their victory dances on TikTok, despite |
|
the fact that they gave up 10 runs to us today as a Southern |
|
school with infinitely more resources than us, a cold weather |
|
school with snow on our field last week. How is the SEC school |
|
the one acting like they just beat Goliath? |

Anyone who is an intelligent fan of this team knows it is time |
|
for change. I respect and celebrate Senk�s achievement but |
|
reality is since 2012 nothing has happened. Kings of a horrible |
|
conference and got smashed whenever they left the safety of the |
|
America East. First year in CAA showed how bad they are. Old |
|
school recruiting and coaching mentality will only continue the |
|
downward slide. Run to 2012 was great. Living that dream for |
|
over a decade with NO results. Time to move on. |

We saw how long it took to make a change in football so I |
|
wouldn�t bet on a new baseball head coach anytime soon (barring |
|
voluntary retirement). The indoor baseball training facility was |
|
supposed to be a game changer but it hasn�t done much to boost |
|
the program. |
