Today Mary opened the visit center for Hammershus, Bornholm. |
|
In the footage, you can see a little bit of the area, which is |
|
where we have our holiday house (in a village by the ocean). It |
|
is an immensely beautiful part of Denmark. |
|
Our house is a 10 minute walk from the ruin. |
|

edited to add: i just saw that bornholm is facing R�gen. I've |
|
been looking at that island as a potential holiday destination |
|
this year. |

It is BEAUTIFUL! |
|
It has so many things, idyllic villages, cliffs, ocean, |
|
waterfalls, white beaches as well as rocky ones (where we have |
|
house there is both), lakes, forests, a canyon - it is all there |
|
on a relatively small island, it is incredible. |
|
I can recommend it. |
|
Obviously we chose to have our house there for a reason! :) |

Last time was in early January. Lots of work lately, but we try |
|
to use it as much as possible. Both the house and the |
|
surroundings are just lovely. |
|
Some family is borrowing the house now for a few days. |
|
Next time MAYBE Easter and then last part of April and hopefully |
|
SPRING weather! ;D |
