I agree, Abs.
I am pretty sure this has been planned out a long time in
advance. Neverttheless, I wonder how much of it has been
discussed with the Queen and how much he's decided on his own.
Really liked also that he gave the Prince of Wales title to
William immediately. Very glad for Kate that she is now the
Princess of Wales and very cute to see the new names of the
chilren too (George of Wales, Charlotte of Wales and Louis of
Wales).

What has impressed me most is that Charles greeted the crowd
outside Buckingham palace so personally. Giving hand to as many
as possible, even hugging people and letting himself be kissed
on his cheek.
I dont think that was planned.
As far as I understand, people are surprised by his warmth, and
they welcome it.

Charles was also seen as indecisive and weak but KC has been
anything but, so far.

He has been in a kind of limbo as crown prince for so many
years. I can imagine it is a difficult position to balance.

Absolutely true and he did a great job at that. Can't be an easy
position. In a way you are bridled, yet have to show that you
have something to contribute. It's now his turn to truly shine.
Looking back, he was quite ahead of his time, wanting to have a
role and to make a differnece. That was at a time when most
crown princes would have and could have enjoyed a playboy
lifestyle. Yet he wanted to find a purpose. His interests back
then surprised many, I think. Yet he's been ahead of his time
with environmental issues, a long time before it became popular.

King Charles obviously has a problem with INK! I think he could
have handled these situations better, MUCH better.
I like Charles, I know he is exhausted and stressed, but he
comes across as a spoilt child - or am I too harsh on him?
