Lost 2-1 in a mirror match off with Shredder. |
|
Qld team really starting to shine from all the polish they have |
|
been given with minor tweaks to each player/stats. |
|
Highlight to this trio was from Shredder's Little Langer: 5th |
|
tackle in my 35m zone, he decides to run it with a flat pass to |
|
Langer who chips it over perfectly to regather, then with 4 |
|
players forming around him slows down with a grubber to fool |
|
them all and sprint onto it to score in the corner! Sensational |
|
to watch players you grew up with do it all again in video |
|
gameland! |

QLD have notched another impressive scalp. Negative_Camba has |
|
bre finally defeated after he brushed aside two horrid attempts |
|
by qld to take down the dragons: |

40/20s and gob smacking passing/offloading with pressure defense |

to boot were instrumental in shutting qld out. |

But ShreddAces Maroons found themselves to have the stamina to |

push thru a final 3d game at 3am and notch a memorable victory |
|
over the no#1 ranked onliner! |
|
Stayed steady in front for most the game before notching a filed |
|
goal in the 68th to push out to 7 points. With still a lifetime |
|
to go, Tallis makes a break on the 5th tackle in the 70th and |
|
punts in whilst he is in space, to turn Nightingale around to |
|
race after the ball, as it rolls perfectly under the posts. |
|
Nighty picks it up and turns around to see a ranging bull |
|
charging at him at full pelt, pinning him into the goal area for |
|
a drop out. A true man of the match moment. |
|
From the ensuing set QLD ruck it hard and straight and smithy |
|
sneaks over to make it 43-30 in the 76th. A short kick off and |
|
full time hooter try consolation to CAMBA settles the score at |
|
43-36 QLD! |
|
ShreddAce: " yeah we'll take tonight's victory as a positive |
|
going forward one win of maybe 8 losses vs Camba isn't easy to |
|
ignore though. We know there's a lot of work ahead of us and |
|
hope to find some consistency playing the big guns." |
