| What happens When a Coach quits or becomes inactive | |
| By: benz1980i Date: December 11, 2012, 6:15 am | |

| I have been thinking about this today. It is going to happen. | |
| But how can we make it a smooth transition for a new coach to | |
| take over a team after the season has began? | |
| What are your thoughts? | |
| I think that if the team has a negative for and against that it | |
| should reset back to 0. But the win/loss remains. So if someone | |
| is going to take over a team on 1 win 3 losses and a diff of | |
| -170 then they will feel better knowing they are not taking over | |
| a crippled team (not to say people are going to leave just | |
| because they are getting beaten). Maybe they could receive a | |
| bonus 1 competition point for each round they have missed? So | |
| their win loss record is cleaned but they gain 4 comp points for | |
| the 4 rounds already played? | |
| Or do we just want to keep the table real and just make it that | |
| they just continue as is? | |

| Hi have been considering this, and yes... We will (or may | |
| already) have an inactive coach amongst us! | |
| To counteract this, I will be contacting you all regularly via | |
| email/txt/psn/forum to ensure you're all onboard and blitzing | |
| through the comp. | |
| If we do have a quitter and they are wooden spooning, obviously | |
| this will be a hard one to fill and yes we will vote on | |
| resetting the f/a and other options for boosting their chances | |
| of finishing well. | |
| I also think it's a great idea to talk about a prize for the | |
| wooden spooner. A $5 set for life might entice you to play on!? | |
| All in all still, it's important to remember this is all about | |
| fun and community passion for RLL2 so get out there and start | |
| playing ppl! | |

| I like the ideas of clearing the F/A a coach quits and a new one | |
| takes over. And i like the idea of giving that coach a bonus | |
| point for each round they have missed. But i think the bonus | |
| point can apply if its in the first half of the season. If a | |
| coach quits at round 18 then thats 18 point for the new coach | |
| and thats will most likely put them in first and i little unfair | |
| so it should only aply to like round 10 or somthing. Just some | |
| thoughts guys | |

| Agreed. But then a team might have a positive for and against | |
| then they can obviously keep that. | |

| Yeah that is true. So what happens if the team has a good F/A | |
| that is worth keep are the entitled to the bonus points. Or is | |
| the bonus points all go to the team if that take over and its a | |
| poor F/A | |

| It will be up to myself and Ace to determine. We will be fair. | |
| They won't go from last to the top 8 | |
