KJV 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may |
|
put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not |
|
using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the |
|
servants of God. 17Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear |
|
God. Honour the king. |
|
WEB 15 For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you |
|
should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 as free, |
|
and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as |
|
bondservants of God. 17Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear |
|
God. Honor the king. |
|
These are my thoughts, please share yours. |

15 Doing God�s will should silence the flesh we have inside us, |
|
doing good make it easier to not be foolish, sinful. |
|
16 This is talking about truly following the Lord not using |
|
grace to sin but using His grace a s liberty for us to further |
|
serve Him even though we still sin. The covering of wickedness |
|
is claiming Jesus without having a heart change and still being |
|
bound to sin. |
|
17 These are things we should and must do as Christians, we want |
|
to honor Him botth by our time with Him and how we treat others. |
