So happy to see you here, Cathey. Good as
well, to see so many others, all together in one place. Like
old times. The forum is shaping up nicely, I think.
Hope your move goes smoothly.
Just remember to mark your boxes,
which side up:

appropriately:

Thank you Nancy. It's funny to see cats in those boxes because
that is exactly what the cats are doing. :D I bought some tape
today so hopefully that will keep them out of the boxes.

I'm thinking there may be a magnesium or potassium problem. A
potassium deficiency can cause both stomach and heart problems.
The thing about throwing up is that the body loses key
elements; and if you can't eat without throwing up, how can you
replace them? There are things you can sip; but IV or
injections is sometimes the answer. I'm hoping it is something
as simple as a magnesium or potassium problem.

I just wish to say that I really enjoy what
Kerry's doing here, offering each of us boards, blogs, and/or
groups. He described it to me as 'rooms' that we might have
where others come to visit. I love the analogy. Gives an
intimate feeling to the site, I think, with opportunity for each
of us to follow special interests and add our own personal
touches.
While the site allows controversial discussion with minimal
interference, it also allows each member to express themselves.
Best of both worlds.

^ I hope it works out, Piper.
I finished my taxes. Actually, no, I didn't. I went back to my
Congressman's office to get a form to file an extension on the
federal form. I'll mail them some money and deal with all the
forms later.
On my way down, at the first intersection, I heard a bird
chirping loudly. I walked a little past it but then it
sounded as if it was trying to get attention so much it made me
wonder what was going on. So I turned around to look for the
bird and couldn't see it. I looked up at the tree that was
there and at the wires. No bird. I finally spied it way up
high perching on the window sill up on the third floor. I
couldn't identify it by the call or appearance. It was up so
high and at such an angle with part of its body hidden, I
couldn't get a good look.
I felt like teasing it, "Oh yeah? I dare you to come down here
and say that." Don't ask me why I thought that. I have some
strange ideas. I knew that would never happen, so I just
said, "Hi there!" It's still a mystery to me. I wish I was
better at identifying birds. It was in a good mood though, I
could tell that.
I have some strange dreams too. The other night I was dreaming
that I was listening to people playing the piano, and I was
talking about people who speak different language played the
piano differently. As if I could tell what language someone
spoke by listening to him playing the piano. Still though,
there might be something to it. Different languages have
different tonal and volume patterns.

Kevin did ours, zero hour, yesterday, cussing
through the whole process. :D We've ALWAYS gotten returns, but
ended up this year having to dish out over a thousand dollars!
Because . . . they are taxing us on the money 'saved' by
negotiations through the debt-relief company that is helping
resolve our debts. Just paid my property taxes, too, so I'm in
pain. Seems to make my pathetic attempts to save money each
month void.

Very true, Mr. Magoo.
I dreamed I was near my bird pens, and there were white feathers
everywhere. Could not understand who put them there and kept
asking everyone, "Did you do it, did you do it?" Then, it
dawned on me--THIS is a dream. I had that sense of elation that
comes with knowing, and I decided to take off down the road,
wherever it might lead me. And I did. I ended up at some small
country general store--wood floors, a single counter, like in
old days. Everyone was dressed vintage, as well. I wandered
around looking at things on the shelves, amazed how clearly I
could see everything. Finally, I turned to an old man as he was
leaving the store. "Do you know," I asked him, "that we are in a
dream?" He looked at me over his spectacles and smiled. "Why,
of course, I know." NOT the answer I'd expected. He seemed
amused. Two ladies, dressed in old-fashioned long dresses,
joined us. I told them, "It seems I can stay in the dreams
longer and longer." They looked at one another, and seemed to
convey some type of understanding between them, or perhaps
worry. "What?" I asked them, but they wouldn't tell me. I told
them, "Better I know then worry." But they wouldn't say. They
spoiled things and I woke up.
I meant to tell you about this dream after I had it awhile back,
but forgot.

Yes, been there, had fun. Its so cool and empowering when you
realize you are in a dream and can probably do anything you want
to if you believe it can happen.

No, what sort of trouble? You could try the WYSIWYG option.

I haven't paid my property tax yet because I wasn't sure I'd
have enough money in the bank to pay the other taxes if I paid
the property tax first.

Hi Nancy,
I thought I had replied to this but I don't see my reply.
I had said that you won't find me here very much hereon since
this is no longer 'for me'.
I tried to deregister but because I was the founder member
before handing over to Kerry the site's software won't allow me
to deregister.
I have forwarded you an email that I have just sent to Helen in
reply to one from her, and that will 'fill you in' re the
details of my shift away from this sort of thing.
Best wishes to you and everyone else.....Mike.
