| Better kitchen appliances by boronizing? | |

| Greetings ~ | |
| So, my husband and I want to redo our kitchen completely and | |
| we're, of course, looking into various stainless steel kitchen | |
| appliances. Obviously, every kitchen needs a sink but we're | |
| unsure which one to get. I know that almost all steel sinks are | |
| made of stainless steel but since our last sink was also made of | |
| stainless steel but didn't look so great after 17 years of | |
| usage, we want to try hardening the material. The other day I | |
| have read an article about hardening steel by boronizing on this | |
| website | |
| https://bortec.de/en/ | |
| and it said that it improves many | |
| properties, such as better wear resistance! I realize that this | |
| is mostly for industrial purposes but I was wondering if it's | |
| possible to boronize your kitchen appliances as well? Does | |
| anyone know? | |
| Best wishes! | |
