sugar and spice and everything nice (joining!)

salty approached the border of lightclan, and with every step
the white she-cat became more enraged. this was the dumbest idea
pepper ever had! the last thing she wanted to do was be around
more cats; her idiot of a sibling was more than enough. it was
too bad they relied on each other for food and protection,
otherwise salty would gladly leave pepper behind. "are you sure
about this?" she growled bitterly as they finally reached the
scent line.

"Absolutely!" The gray-speckled molly looked at her sister,
smiling. She was happy her sister decided to come with her after
the tiniest squabble about joining a still starting clan. Or
joining any group in general. "This'll be so much fun and we
could meet so many other cats! Isn't it exciting?!" She gave a
little bounce on her paws, fueled by the excitement of meeting
other cats.

Abysma was soon to approach the two sisters, a subtly annoyed
look crossing her face at the excitement of one and the cynicism
of the other. Both were too extreme; someone in the middle
ground was much nicer to be around, in her opinion. The munchkin
calico stopped in front of the two young felines, blocking their
path as she questioned them. "Hey, wait there a minute. Who are
you two, and what are you doing here?" she inquired, eyes
narrowing as her skepticism kicked in.

Pepper's ears perked and she looked over at Abysma. "Hello! My
name is Pepper, and this is my sister Salty!" The young molly's
tail waved in the air and her eyes nearly sparkled with her
excitement of meeting a new cat. "We decided to join a group we
heard about! Are you one of the members? Could you show us
around?? Can we join??"

the white molly rolled her eyes, pinning her ears back as
peppers loud voice pierced the air. yeah, that was what they
were doing. but there was no need to say anything now. her
sister had already explained it rather annoyingly. salty simply
flicked her tail to affirm what pepper already said.

"I am indeed one of the members," she responded, giving them
both a look before continuing. "I don't have a right to turn you
away without reason so I suppose I have to say yes. But you can
find someone else to show you around. Tigger would be more than
willing, I'm sure."
