Day In Day Out

Dusk, a black maine coon, was wondering in the large field of
corn. Some twolegs lived a little ways off but the never
bothered her. She climbed up a tree as the sun was setting, she
wanted to get a better view of the land before going to sleep.
((Incase you couldn't tell Dusk is in a field of corn on some
farm land owned by an elderly couple.))

Flicker was a wanderer, and as a wanderer, she saw
some odd things. For one, the tall plants in this area, corn as
she heard it was called. The cream-and-white she-cat padded
along a line of the plants, her green eyes scanning over each
stalk curiously until movement caught her attention. A large,
black-furred cat. A local perhaps? Flicker quickened her pace
and went towards the tree the other feline was resting in.
"Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"

Dusk looked down up the cream-and-white she-cat who was asking
her where she was. Dusk heard her sister Dawn calling out to her
from one of the rows. Dusk climbed down, "You're in a corn
field." Dusk walked toward her sister.
Dawn noticed Dusk in the tree and started calling out for her,
"Dusk! Dusk!" She started speeding up until she saw Dusk get
down from the tree. After Dusk got closer Dawn noticed the
she-cat behind her.

Flicker would've retorted to the she-cat for
stating the obvious, but she kept her jaw shut and watched as
another she-cat appeared. The two knew each other it seems. She
simply stared with a slightly annoyed expression.

After Dusk caught up with Dawn, Dawn asked her about the
she-cat. "Don't know." Dawn then walked past her sister and
walked up to the unknown she-cat, Dusk sat behind her sister.
After her sister walked up to Dawn asked Dusk, "Who's your new
friend?" Dusk said she didn't know. So Dawn decided to figure
out for herself, she walked up to the cream and white she-cat.
"What's your name?"

Her ears perked slightly. "My name is Flicker. And
yours?" The cream-and-white she-cat narrowed her green eyes at
the approaching feline with both curiosity and distrust.

"My name's Dawn miss doom and gloom back there," Dawn nodded her
head to Dusk, "is my sister. Dusk." Dawn was intrigued by this
new she-cat, maybe she could have a new friend. Her ears perked
up just at the thought. "So what are you doing here? Where did
you come from?"
Dusk sat behind her sister as she talked to the unknown cat,
Dusk narrowed her eyes at 'Flicker', as her sister talked.
