Mystic looked around the camp boredly. She hated what it had
become; taken over by a flea-ridden wolf, the second-in-commands
being two inexperienced, bossy kits. She snorted, flicking her
tail around her paws. As much as she hated the Clan at the
moment, she was somewhat pleased with the entertainment of the
takeover.
Mystic stretched, parting her jaws in a yawn.

Xander was walking around the village, a soft sigh escaping his
maw. He was made the temporary doctor of the Clan somewhat
against his wishes, but in a way, he was helping others like he
wanted to. After his wounds healed up, he now had the chance to
explore the camp. It was pretty impressive in his eyes. He
noticed Mystic sitting alone and he recognized her from the time
she and a couple others found him injured. Despite the
circumstances, the tom decided he should try and make
conversation with the Clan just to be on good terms with them.
Xander calmly walked over. "Hello," he greeted. "I don't think I
ever caught your name?"

bushes. The ginger half of her was facing away from anyone, but
her black furred half's startlingly blue eye gave up her
position.
Nerdpaw hung close by, looking like a pile of goop or

He didn't say anything at first, just nodded respectfully in
return. He would say it was a pleasure to meet her, but he knew
it wouldn't be completely honest if he did. And he hated lying.
Xander just didn't know who he could trust around here, even
though sooner or later he would have to find someone to rely on.
The gray tabby caught the lieutenant resting nearby. It was a
little unsettling. "Before you said your current leader wouldn't
take me in, like the Clan wasn't always like this. What
happened?" he asked, resting his gaze on her.

"Our clan was doing just fine until Morilec took over." She said
in a low voice. "That mangey wolf doesn't seem to carry much
respect for anyone; only for she-cats that he could knock up
later." She snorted, but her fur bristled uneasily. "Can't blame
him for taking over though. This Clan would have separated if we
didn't get a leader soon, after all."

She looked up at Snakepaw. "And I have to be bossed around and
constantly watched by an annoying kit and a pile of mud." She
said quite loudly, flicking her tail in satisfaction.
