I BET A LOT OF ME WAS LOST || private, stormy
By: dawnfire111 Date: April 6, 2016, 6:57 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Berryflight paced around outside of camp, feeling a little
anxious and conflicted. More than normal, anyway. She was
feeling a lot better now. She was still pretty sad, of course,
but she had mostly gotten over her Clan's death. They were the
ones who helped her onto her feet, who took her in when she was
a weak, spoiled kittypet. They could be tough and she wasn't
very close to any of them, but she always knew she could depend
on them. She accepted their deaths and moved on. Now that she
was feeling better, there was no reason to separate herself from
others, or from Firework. But Berry had a problem. There were so
many times where it killed her not to tackle him with kisses or
obsess over him while he did anything at all, even eating. Was
her crush so deep that she couldn't just..take a break? She
hadn't realized how crazy she was for him until she stepped back
and actually looked at herself.
Berryflight stepped into the camp, her eyes immediately shifting
to the leader's den. A soft sigh escaped her mouth as her claws
clung to the ground beneath her and her heart started pounding.
She was a full-grown she-cat, a medicine cat, for StarClan's
sake! She should be able to control all these feelings. Berry
suddenly felt herself pulling forward, heading straight for his
den. For a second she felt regret, but that was quickly replaced
by excitement. The medicine cat slowed down in front the
entrance, attempting to poke her head inside. "Hello..?" she
called softly. What if nobody was even there? That would be kind
of disappointing.
( you don't have to make your post long i just can't help it i'm

//now i feel like i gotta though lmao
Firework had finally gotten some time to himself. The Chieftain
had been busy for so long since the Tribe was formed, and never
had any time to just sit and rest, and think. It was always
constantly 'do this' or 'talk to this person' or 'negotiate with
this leader'. It was nice to finally be able to get off his
paws. Currently, he was laying in his next, thinking of
Berryflight. His thoughts always tended to drift to her, for
some reason.
He was thinking of their past, and the present. What they could
be in the future. In the old Clans, they had kept their
relationship secret, not wanting their respective Clans to know
of the fact that they were together. It had been exciting, and
risky, and it was too much. Now, it was calm, and he didn't like
that either. They didn't talk much, and he missed how it used to
be. He wanted something... in between. He wanted to be with her,
but he didn't want them to just sit around. He wanted some
excitement, but not the kind that they had before. He wanted a
balance in between.
It was then that he heard her voice, and it broke him out of his
thoughts immediately. "I'm in here, Berry," he called, in a
quiet voice. "Come on in."

( omg storm i was just about to post )
The sound of his voice made her hold her breath for a moment.
God, she was obsessed with him. Berryflight breathed out and
entered in, her light blue eyes landing on his. A small smile
she could not control showed up on her face when she saw him.
"Hey you," she greeted softly, slowly walking over. "Is this
seat taken?" she asked, holding in a laugh.

He looked over, a content smile as his face as he shook his
head. "Feel free to take it," Firework purred, turning to face
her. "How've you been, Berryflight? We haven't had a chance to
talk much, yet," the Chieftain commented.

"Thank you, kind sir," Berryflight purred, finally sitting down
next to the leader. "Ah, no, we haven't. I've been..pretty good,
I guess. You?" she asked, meeting his eyes.

//totally not thinking of having him propose to her what

His smile widened slightly as she met his eyes; he couldn't help
it. "I've been great," he responded. "Exhausted, but great."

[omg whAT YEs [s] OR WAIT WHAT I F HE TOOK HER OUT ON A CUTE LIL
DA TE AND SURPRISED HER AHH[/s]]
"Mm, well, yeah, I guess starting and running a new Clan will do
that to you," Berryflight giggled. Her laughs soon died down and
all that was left was their hushed breaths and chattering of
Clan outside. She didn't really mind the silence between them.
It wasn't awkward, anxious, maybe, but nothing out of the
ordinary. It felt right. "I really missed you," she said
quietly, the words just slipping out of her mouth as she stared
into his eyes. She blinked and looked away, smiling nervously.
"I-I mean, I know it was my fault we weren't really talking, but
I..I just.." she lost it. The words were now slipping from her
mind instead.

//DOING IT YES
He leaned forward, giving her a soft kiss before pulling away.
"Berry, it's fine. I understand... I missed you too." A small
smile lit up his face, and he purred, "That's why I set a, uh...
a little something up for you. Come on, I'll show you." The
Chieftain stood up.

[!!!!!1!1!
freaking out rn don't mind me]
Berryflight purred, giving his muzzle a soft lick before he
pulled back. The medicine cat smiled back at him and narrowed
her eyes suspisciously. "What do you mean? Firework..?" she
asked, a small laugh following afterwards. She hesitated, slowly
standing up while she studied him and tried to figure out what
he was planning.
