POWERS AND BODIES SIGN UP

[size=8pt]welcome! i see you have found this thread, where you
can grant your characters gifts of powers! there are obvious,
simple rules you should read before applying for a power! as
well, there is a limit. that will be explained after the rules.
- these, by no means whatsoever, allow you to powerplay! the
other person always has the option to avoid your attack.
- the limit, which will be explained in a moment, is a set
thing. no getting around it. highlight after this sentence. put
celery after your character's name.
- powers may/will have a debuff, so they don't make your
character overpowered. you must follow that debuff.
ah, there were less rules than anticipated. there might be more
added later on, and i'll be sure to bump this if that is the
case!
now, onto the limit. your character's limit is the number ten.
you see, powers will be divided up into tiers, zero through
five. each tier represents the amount of points the power is
worth. for example, examplepaw has one power in tier four, one
power in tier two, and two powers in tier one. it all adds up to
eight, so examplepaw is free to go. any numbers adding above
ten, though, will instantly kill your character, as no one is
strong enough to hold that much power. also, the higher the
number, the more struggle the character might have.
- tier zero, no struggle whatsoever, they don't even have
powers.
- tier one, minimal struggle, but can be controlled quite
easily.
- tier two, more struggle, may get tired after usage.
- tier three, powers may accidentally inflict injuries on ones
self.
- tier four, gets tired easily, powers may lash out if
possible.
- tier five, almost always tired, may develop illnesses.
of course, this list is guidelines for "normal" cats, and also
plot fodder. i can tell you that examplepaw couldn't even make
it to nine power points, as he died while discovering the eighth
one. he was a weak tom, while his older brother, sampleheart,
has ten power points and is fairing well. still, the moment he
got that eleventh power point, he died, and joined his brother
in starclan. you understand now?
anyways, onto the powers!
tier zero
mutation
- can only be bought if another power has already been
purchased, and a reason is given as to why the mutation is
given.
- for example, examplepaw had elementals, used them too much,
and had earth shards growing out of his legs.
absorb souls
- much like a leader, the character will be able to absorb a
soul and gain a life. another must be dead in order to do this.
- no more than nine lives at a time. if your character loses a
life, they may retrieve another, but must kill for it after that
point.
ability to manipulate eye color/pelt color
- self explanatory.
plant pelt
- plants can grow from a creature's pelt
- they can not be used offensively
- they can not be any useful plants, like herbs
tier one
character bond
- two or more characters share a spiritual bond, which also
shares thoughts, aches, pains, worries, and all that good stuff.
- all parties must add this to their character.
telepathy
- allows the character to read and speak through their mind.
can be used to screech in another animal's brain during battle.
mimicking noises
- allows the characters to mimic noises, voices, sounds
perfectly. bird chirps, car engines, mother in laws, you name
it.
sight into the past
- must have explicit permission from another before you are
able to traverse their past.
- may also give vivid memory of their own past, somewhat acts
as a photographic memory.
wings
- self explanatory.
- mutations not needed if this is what is wanted.
scent manipulation
- able to hide or change one's scent.
sound manipulation
- able to make sounds louder or quieter.
advanced elementals
- ice from water, blue fire from fire, plants from earth, and
lightening from air.
- must have the elementals required to get the extension
pelt & eye manipulation
- self explanatory
tier two
projecting light / glowing
- the character's body will glow/light up on command.
- character, much like glow in the dark objects, must 'absorb'
light before they can glow.
lullaby
- being able to speak/sing and put another character to sleep,
easily.
ability to heal others
- self explanatory.
- may accidentally transfer injury to your character.
water elemental
- can only control water
earth elemental
- can only control earth
air elemental
- can only control air
fire elemental
- can only control fire
animal modifications
- improve your creature.
- example: giving a dog full-colored sight, no more black and
white vision.
- downsides include a pain with modification is acquired, and
it can only be acquired while asleep.
tier three
induce hallucinations
- pretty self explanatory.
- only an image, though, so one would have to pair it with
other powers in order to get the full effect.
shape shifting
- ability to change into any animal possible, given the 4,100
lb (2,000 kg) limit. this is roughly the average weight of a
car.
- the process of shifting is often painful.
super speed
- self explanatory.
- heightened stamina.
mood changer
- the ability to change the mood of one cat to multiple cats
- may lead to bipolar disorder / no emotions at all if used too
much or on too many
super senses
- all senses are heightened, much akin to dovewing in the books
- sensory overload
conjuration
- able to summon things up to the size of a clydesdale horse.
- bigger things take more energy
- no live things or elementals
tier four
ability to control/join dreams
- character will be able to join in another's dream.
- they must stay awake during the whole ordeal, or else it
won't work correctly.
pain immunity
- although the character will be able to be hurt, they will not
feel the pain.
absorb strength
- allows the character to take another's strength, whether in
battle or during kitting
- strength returns to original owner sooner than later, and
makes your character slightly weaker than before.
teleportation
- self explanatory.
- must have gone where they teleport to pre-teleporting.
invisibility
- self explanatory.
- if invisible for too long, it effects senses other than
sight. not reversable after the last sense is gone.
human modifications
- metal implants to the body, etc etc
- obvious trauma, ptsd
- can have guns or other weapons stashed into the body, which
is why its so high up on the list.
tier five
turning into a shadow
- self explanatory.
- you may not interact with objects while in shadow form.
elementals [bundle pack]
- be able to control earth, water, air, and fire.
- may cause mutations

Not entirely sure on what it is yet, or if its good or bad
