[ vilasini & forrest please ]
It was a quiet day in the forest. The sun had yet to set, but it
was getting there. Maybe a few hours of daylight left. That
would leave enough time for a cross border conversation, don't
you think?

Forrest was out on a walk, slightly tired. He had been out
trying to hunt all day, and naught to show for it. It seemed the
rogues chased off or caught most of the prey.

Vilasini happily walked along the borders of their Clans,
enjoying that fact that all this rogue business was over. It was
kinda disturbing to now know that one of their most trusted
warriors was leading it, but she tried not to dwell on that. She
slowed down and sniffed the air, easily catching wind of nearby
DevilClanner. They felt way too close for comfort, but at the
same time, she was as close to crossing the border as much as
they were. She started following the scent but made sure she
didn't make a wrong step.

Forrest suddenly caught the scent of Vilasini and followed the
scent.

Vilasini arrived at the border and quickly stopped herself from
stepping over. That wouldn't have been very pretty. She could
still scent the patrol nearby, and even though they didn't seem
to have crossed anywhere, she wanted to stay here and make sure.
The bear sat down and watched her surroundings in case the
animal appeared.

Forrest continued to move along, careful not to cross the
border. It didn't seem like whoever it was had crossed the
border either, but it was always better to be safe than sorry.
Noticing the scent was getting stronger, he raised his head to
see the bear sitting there, seemingly waited. He was still out
of view, as he wanted to observe the animal for a moment before
showing himself. They didn't seem to have any ill intent, so the
wolf showed himself, clearing his throat to let her know he was
there.

Vilasini whipped her head around and locked her gaze on the
canine nearby. After hesitating a moment or two, she slowly
stood up and took a small step forward. "Um, hello," she greeted
calmly. She didn't see any reason to be defensive. Not yet,
anyway.

"Hello," the Himalayan wolf responded, being sure not to intrude
on her side of the border. He didn't want to get into a fight,
so he had to be sure to be careful.
