The ragged silver tabby sat a few feet inside the border because |
|
she was a rebel like that. Lilith tried to groom her matted fur |
|
a little bit before someone saw her. She'd been treated just |
|
horribly in the animal "shelter" she'd been locked up in, and |
|
when someone was just about to adopt her, she found a way to |
|
escape. No more being locked up in a tiny cage! No more being |
|
forced to behave or forego dinner! She was a free cat now! Now |
|
she could surround herself with cats as free as herself and |
|
finally be happy. |
