Prologue- Outcast |
|
My name is Outcast. I'm an elder of OakClan, and indeed the |
|
most popular cat in camp, well, besides Luca, of course. |
|
Lucario, the leader of OakClan, was a brave, young, and strong |
|
warrior. I, however, was a weak, scrawny, grumpy elder. But it |
|
wasn't my personality and looks that made me popular. It was my |
|
backstory. |
|
Today was a special day in the Clan, the day I returned from |
|
BreezeyClan, the clan on the moors. BreezeyClan was named after |
|
Breezeypelt, Ravenstar's father. Ravenstar was a powerful and |
|
battle-hungry tom. There was a time where BreezeyClan could no |
|
longer trust Ravenstar. But he would never stand down. That's |
|
what I admire about him. He was grumpy, sure, but he was |
|
charming all together. |
|
I suppose while we're on the subject, I suppose I could tell |
|
you the history of the other clans, but I should leave that up |
|
to my foster mother, Firebird. Firebird was also a famous cat. |
|
She and her mate, Rabbitnose, lead the journey from the clans by |
|
the river to where we are now. That was seasons ago. Out of all |
|
six brave cats on the journey, she was the only one left. |
|
Firebird, Rabbitnose, Ravenstar, Pinestar, and Swiftpaw, one cat |
|
from each Clan. Firebird was from ShadowClan, Rabbitnose from |
|
RiverClan, Ravenstar from WindClan, and of course, Pinestar and |
|
Swiftpaw from ThunderClan. |
|
Well, I suppose I should let Firebird tell her story. And maybe |
|
if I'm in a good mood, I can share my story, too. |

Chapter 1- Firebird |
|
"Mom, I can groom myself!" |
|
"Nonsense, Firekit." |
|
"But I'm six moons!" |
|
"And you'll be six moons until you're seven moons." |
|
A stubby white she-kit bounded over to Firekit. |
|
"I wish I was as old as you! I wanna become an apprentice!" |
|
"Hush, Rosekit." |
|
"Yes mother." |
|
Firekit stifled a purr of amusement. Today was her lucky day, |
|
the day where she would get her apprentice name. Her mother, |
|
Lilyflower, was obviously too anxious for her young kit to grow |
|
up. Rosekit, on the other hand, was green with envy. |
|
Firekit raised her chin at her leader's words. Howlstar, the |
|
wolf-like leader, had just summoned the Clan. Firekit and her |
|
bestie, Silverkit, were finally getting their names. |
