Firework walked towards their meeting place, thinking. Pushing |
|
his thoughts away, he sat down in the meadow, taking a deep |
|
breath and letting it out before relaxing and waiting for |
|
Berryflight. |

Berryflight cleared her throat as she stepped into the calm |

scene. The scent of fresh flowers was in the air as the medicine |
|
cat skimmed her gentle blue eyes over the area, searching for a |
|
certain someone she had planned to meet. Ah, there he was. |
|
Berryflight soon let her worries and thoughts slip away, her |
|
hopeful orbs settling on him as she trotted over with her tail |
|
held high. "Hey you," she purred towards the SerpentClanner |
|
head, a smile dancing on her face. |

muzzle against hers. His smile only grew as he took a step back |

and looked into her eyes. |

The medicine cat's contented purr grew a bit louder as Firework |
|
nuzzled against her smiling cheek. A whimper wanted to escape |
|
from her mouth as he pulled away, but when he locked his eyes |
|
with hers, she couldn't help but stop and melt in their held |
|
gaze for a moment. |
|
How did all of this even happen? Didn't she just lose her way a |
|
long time ago, like the clumsy airhead she was? Yep. Yet they |
|
loved each other anyway, enough to meet each other regularly |
|
with barely any discussion about it. They just..did it. They |
|
were young, and it was sort of forbidden, which made it all the |
|
more exciting and addictive. |
|
"Soo, how's life?" she broke the silence with a smile, after |
|
what seemed like forever of just staring at each other. |

He let himself relax in her gaze, not wanting to be the first to |
|
break the silence. When her voice finally sounded, he welcomed |
|
it, relieved she had spoken before him. Fire started laughing, |
|
and when he stopped, he just smiled for a moment before finally |
|
purring, "Better, now that I'm with you again." The head |
|
honestly didn't know when what he felt for her had turned from a |
|
'like' to a 'love.' All he knew was that he was glad it had. |
