Ok, I have been thinking about this fanfic since the middle of
the summer. Im going to put alot of work into this, and I really
hope you like it, because the summary of the story is actually
unique. After a bit, I may or may not make a comic of this. Feel

Prologue
The grass swayed in the cool breeze as a pale white and gray
shape, almost transparent, stalked through the starry hunting
grounds. A ways off, another pale white and gray shape stalked a
mouse. The calm peace was interrupted when a ragged brown shape
dashed through the grass, his eyes round with panic. A calico
she-cat lifted her head, puzzled, and dashed after the tom. They
stopped at a beautiful pond, all four striking eyes filled with
panic.
"Whats happening?" The calico demanded. Her fearful mew was
echoed by two other cats who joined the group, one was a black
tom and one was a firey red she-cat.
"Berry, whats happening?" The calico asked again, this time
more directly to the ragged tom.
Berry shook his head. "Something terrible is coming, Foxstripe."
"What exactly is happening?" The black tom demanded, while the
other she-cat set her tail-tip on her shoulder for comfort. "Its
all going to be alright, Breezeshadow."
Breezeshadow only mumbled in response, then fixed his gaze on
Berry. The old, ragged tom with a RiverClan warrior at heart,
but was driven out by a greedy leader who wanted nothing but
bloodshed. Berry became a loner, but held a strong belief to
StarClan. He eventually risked his life for RiverClan, and was
held a vigil as if he was a highly respected medicine cat.
"ThunderClan is in danger." Berry meowed abruptly, but
continued before any cat had a chance to reply. "This is a
danger that only one cat can stop."
"Whats the danger?"
"Whos the cat?"
"When will this happen?"
The ruffled elder shook out his ragged fur, as if telling his
clanmates to be silent. "The danger is unknown, even to me,
along with all the other questions. But I have a prophecy that
only needs to be figured out by ThunderClan."
Berry lifted his muzzle to the misty sky, his eyes showing what
an ancient and elderly cat he was. After a long moment's
silence, he let out a raspy meow.
"A wing of fire will be helped by a wave of blue water in order
to stop an everlasting night."

Chapter 1
The moon rose high in the sky, shedding light down into a dark
hollow. A growl of annoyance came from the nursery. Thornkit, a
brown tabby tom, kicked his sister, Firekit, who woke up with a
start. "What is it?" Thornkit growled, turning to Firekit as she
woke up. Firekit's only reply was a puzzled and tired gaze as
the young tabby. "Why are you kicking me?" The tom demanded, his
fur fluffing up.
"I was not kicking you." Firekit retorted, turning again and
settling down, only to be kicked by Thornkit.
"Hey!"
"What?"
"Dont kick me!"
"I was not kicking you." Thornkit mocked innocently with his
best girly voice. Firekit growled loudly, startling a blue
she-kit. She sat up, letting out a loud yawn. "Will you do go to
sleep? Its only moonhigh." She meowed sleepily, obviously still
half asleep. Thornkit growled and kicked Firekit, who reared up
and knocked Bluekit in the head. Bluekit snapped out of her
daze, instantly turning on Firekit, who shoved Bluekit back into
Thornkit. Thornkit growled and pushed kicked Bluekit, who
snapped at Firekit.
A loud growl of annoyance interrupted the three kits as a
ginger she-cat glared at the kittens. "Cant you three stop
bickering already? You'll wake up the whole of StarClan with all
your rough-housing! Not to mention its almost dawn and most the
warriors are resting up for a dawn patrol." The queen let out an
exasperated sigh. "Its about time you three are apprenticed.
There wont be any room for you once the other kits are born."
Firekit instantly remembered that Foxfeet, another queen, was
going to have kits soon. It was bad enough having the cranky and
bossy young cat in the nursery, but it will be worse once her
kits learn her snobby ways.
Light peered into the den. Foxfeet has awaken and walked out to
bathe in the warm sun, while Thistlebush, the deputy, arranged
patrols. Cloudedstar sat on the highrock, but realization
snapped to the small leader. "Thistlebush! Dont sent the patrols
out yet." He ordered, his gaze flicking to the nursery. Firekit,
Bluekit, and Thornkit bounded out of the nursery as Cloudedstar
called a meeting, the kittens' fur was neatly groomed.
Lilyflower followed, her eyes glowing with pride.
"Firekit, Thornkit, and Bluekit have reached the age of six
moons, and it is time for them to be apprenticed." The small
leader began. "From this day forward, until they recieve their
warrior names, they will be Firepaw, Thornpaw, and Bluepaw." The
clan began to cheer, but the cheers died out as Cloudedstar
raised his tail for silence. "Sagewhispers, you will mentor
Firepaw. Ravenfire will mentor Thornpaw, and Blackleaf will
mentor Bluepaw. You are all experienced warriors, and I hope you
all pass down all you know to these three lively young cats." A
surge of pride jolted through Bluepaw. Blackleaf was the best
hunter in the Clan! Thornpaw, on the other side, wasnt proud at
all. Ravenfire was a strict tom, and most the apprentices were
afraid of him. He stifled a sigh. This was going to be a long
six moons.

Chapter 2
"I expect the elders' moss to be clear of everything by the
time I come back from my patrol." She meow sounded through the
camp, followed by an annoyed groan. Firepaw trotted into camp
with Sagewhispers following. Each cat carried a plump mouse. The
young she-cat held her head high as she walked across the camp
to the fresh-kill pile. Bluepaw sat at the growing pile, her
blue eyes shining as her sister approached. "Nice catch,
Firepaw!" Thornpaw rolled his eyes through pure jealousy. He
grumbled and disappeared into the medicine cat's den.
The small den was filled with the fragrant of herbs. Thornpaw
wrinkled his nose as he heard faint coughing from deeper inside
the den. As he made his way toward the noise, a sour scent
filled his nose, mixed with a scent of something sweet. He poked
his tabby head around a corner, surprised to see a beautiful
gray she-cat treating the medicine cat, Ivyvines. The young
apprentice, Seapaw, looked up, her eyes clouded with worry. "Are
you sick, too?" Her voice trembled slightly. Thornpaw shook his
head. "I.. I came to get moss." He stammered, his eyes fixed on
the sickly medicine cat. How could a cat who knew so much about
herbs possibly get sick?
Seapaw sighed and lead Thornpaw to a small crack in a stone,
pulling out some moss with her claws. "I-Im sorry for disturbing
you." The tom lowered his head, but Seapaw lifted his chin up,
her eyes filled with sorrow. "I cant fix her." She muttered,
before leading him out of the winding den again. Without saying
another word, the apprentices split. The medicine cat apprentice
went to the leader's den, while Thornpaw went to the elder's
den. Leafstems was grooming herself at the side of the den,
while Rockfoot was lecturing Dappleblaze with his same raspy,
grumpy voice. Thornpaw cleared his throat, nudging the elderly
cats up while he changed the bedding. He finished with the two
she-cats, then looked at Rockfoot. The old tom snorted. "There
ain't no way your gettin' me out of this nest." He declared,
fixing his gaze challengingly at Thornpaw. The young apprentice
simply flicked his ears. "Suit yourself." He turned and walked
to the entrance, a grin spreading across his face as he heard
the elder getting up with a grumpy mutter.
