One would never suspect that a clan-- just cats in general,
would live so dangerously. Most want to live relatively safe
lives, even clan cats. But this group of daring felines decided
to make their home along speeding roads and highways, with only
patches of trees and grass in between the busy streets.
SpeedClan believe in living exciting lives, full of risks and
adventure. The danger is part of the fun.
TERRITORY
SpeedClan's territory stretches from the middle of a city to the
beginning of farmland. Their main territory is swerving
highways, intersections, and busy roads. Patches of grass and
trees are found between many of the streets, serving as resting
spots and hunting areas.
The camp is in a rather big patch of wilderness. In between two
roads, the grassy area dips downward into a small chasm. Bushes
and trees surround this area, serving as a perfect shelter for
the SpeedClan cats.
HISTORY
There were three cats who were the founders of SpeedClan:
Darestar, Windpaw, and a deceased cat named Speeddemon.
Speeddemon and Darestar (their birth names were Speed and Dare)
were littermates, and Wind was their younger sister. The three
of them were very much interested in the clans; their mother
told them stories about the wild cats every day. One unfortunate
day, the siblings' mother passed away after being hit by a car.
Though Wind was horrified, her brothers had ideas. They figured
that living around the highways was dangerous, but what else was
dangerous? Clan life. The brothers wanted to found a clan among
the busy roads to honor their mother's death. They eventually
got Wind to agree, and she became the main advertiser for the
new group. Since they were now officially clan cats, they gave
themselves clan names; Speed became Speeddemon, Dare took on the
name Daredevil, and Wind became known as Windpaw. Windpaw was
obviously too young to become a leader, but Daredevil and
Speeddemon often bickered about who should be in charge of clan
affairs. They eventually decided that Speeddemon would make the
best leader, but the day after he was appointed, the young tom
died by the same fate as his mother. Darestar became leader
after that, but with much grief for his fallen brother. He
decided to name the new group SpeedClan in his honor, and
perhaps also for the speeding cars and trucks that snake along
the roads that characterize their territory.

Female
She is an observant cat who can basically know what you've been
doing just by a look. Since she has this skill though, she
usually doesn't consider the feelings of others. She is also the
most excited when in dangerous situations, and loves to act as a
detective to figure things out.
This cat is a large, sleek-furred cat with gray fur and white
spread throughout the fur. Her eyes are odd, being an electric
purple, almost.
Penkit
5 1/2 moons

Male
He is outgoing and adventurous, and extremely disobedient. He
constantly wanders around, and has almost gotten hit multiple
times.
Pen is a yellow-orange cat with darker stripes and long fur. He
is tiny, and has a bobbed tail as well as gold eyes.
