PAR 2025/26 Rules |

|
Hope everyone�s summer has been/is enjoyable! A few minor |
|
changes to the PAR this season. |
|
Mbj44 has kindly agreed to carry on running the PAR Cup |
|
competition this season, and I am sure he will issue his cup |
|
competition rules in the future. |
|
No need to sign up for the regular PAR. If people wish to dip in |
|
and out then that is fine - The table posted in the PAR update |
|
will include the number of game weeks submitted. |
|
Premier League PAR: |
|
No change here � You�ll will be asked to predict the referee, |
|
fourth official and VAR for each Premier League fixture. 20 |
|
points will be awarded for each correct prediction, with a bonus |
|
100 points being awarded if you predict a trio correctly. |
|
[b]The Official Lineup[/b] |
|
There will be a return of the Official Lineup entry. One PL |
|
fixture each week where you will be asked to predict all |
|
officials. Referee, assistant referees, 4th Official, VAR and |
|
AVAR. 50 points per correct prediction, if anyone manages to get |
|
all predictions right then I'm tempted to say you just win the |
|
whole competition! 500 bonus points!. |
|
EFL PAR: |
|
EFL PAR will feature 6 fixtures from across the EFL every week. |
|
100 points per correct prediction. |
|
The Randomiser: |
|
There will be three questions to answer for that weekend's |
|
appointments. [u]150 points[/u] for a correct prediction. |
|
Questions will relate to the top four divisions unless stated |
|
and can be predicted as 'none' if you feel no official will meet |
|
the condition of the question. All members can submit their own |
|
questions via PM to Ben - they will then be used at an |
|
appropriate time within the competition. |
|
General points: |
|
- Changing your prediction is fine, up until the appointments |
|
are released. Any posts edited/submitted after the publication |
|
will be void. |
|
With regard to �last minute� appointment changes, whoever starts |
|
the game in that role will be taken as the appointment for which |
|
points are given. |
|
- Where surnames alone won't make it clear which official is |
|
picked - please specify (i.e. J Smith, L Smith, B Madley, A |
|
Madley etc) |
|
- Predictions submitted after SG1 OR SG2 appointments have been |
|
published will be void. |
|
