Women�s� Six Nations - Scotland v Wales - Kat Roche |

I�ve been enjoying a really competitive game of rugby union and |
|
have been really impressed with American referee Kat Roche, from |
|
Texas. |
|
She has loads of authority, explains her decisions to the |
|
players and the players clearly accord her plenty of respect. |
|
Excellent teamwork with her Australian TMO, Oliver Kellett, led |
|
to Roche sending off two players, one for each side. Both were |
|
sent to the bunker (Ian Tempest) and one stayed a yellow card, |
|
the other upgraded to a red. |
|
Kat Roche clearly can give a lesson to some of her male |
|
counterparts in rugby and football who seem frightened of making |
|
a mistake. Authoritative, clear and concise and not overbearing. |
|
Very impressive. |
