That's an amazing total, 171 out of 180. Seriously impressive!
I got just 19 from my memory, with a few others as guesses which
could be easily checked. Some serious Googling will be needed to
find any more and I shall not come anywhere near your score.
Unsurprisingly I cannot help with any of your blanks. Thomas
Turton, Bishop of Ely, composed the tune Ely, but I am not sure
that it qualifies as noted in any but the obvious sense that
would apply to all tunes.

I think Turton might be it - the "noted" referring both to the
tune as well as the person (Senior wrangler as well as Smith's
prizeman)
northallerton - both battle of the standard as welll as of
byland
heck and hagenbeck - both tried to "revive" aurochs
down to 5 now - revised list above
