Seen penalties given for a lot less. But he�s been excellent ,
cucurella going down at every opportunity. Best team on the
pitch so far, with Spain a close second

This is more a laws/guidelines thing than about the ref, but
given Caravajal got a head knock then. The furore and anger of
when the Hungarian got KO�d earlier in the tournament doesn�t
align with the equally as dangerous sub KO head knocks that
accumulate over time. Head injuries need to be taken more
seriously.

No issues there - Spain the better side and a great performance
from Letexier.
Letexier definitely a star of the future and fair play to
Rosetti for having the nerve to put him on the final - his
performances warranted it.

The only criticism I would have is 4 minutes were added in the
second half, at least 2 of those weren't played due to
stoppages, yet he blew up bang on 4 minutes.

Overall I thought he was very good. Missed a yellow for SPA for
Carvajal in the first half. Yellow card for Watkins was harsh.
Time keeping needs to improve, the ball was in play for just
under 2 minutes in the additional time and he still blew up
before the minimum 4!
We will certainly see him take charge of many more finals in the
future.

Spain deserved to win , best team in the tournament, the referee
was excellent throughout apart from his timekeeping in added
time Spain player down for a whole minute from 92:30 to 93:30
and yet he blows at 94:02 . Pretty much the only thing I felt he
got wrong , should be proud of his display .
