Facundo Tello - Turkey v Georgia

I've been really impressed with him - it's been a high tempo and
frantic game and he's managed it all really well - some great
advantages and communication with players. Just like Rapallini
at Euro 2020 he's given a great representation of Argentinian
refereeing and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a knockout
game.

they have produced some excellent referees over the last 20
years Horacio Elizondo , Hector Baldassi , Nestor Pittana
Rappallini and on todays performance Tello can join that list

Best performance of the tournament so far I think (along with
Zwayer) - some unlikely names excelling, whereas more familiar
names (eg Turpin) stumbling.

My favourite match of the tournament so far, and Tello and team
have very postively contributed to this match. I really like
his manner with the players, firm when he needs to be, but
generally quite laid back and willing to let the game flow. He
should absolutely be getting another game.

Best refereeing performance so far. Wouldn't mind seeing Tello
on important KO matches.
Also the best game of the Euros so far...

Thought he was superb and contributed to a fantastic game.
Played in a very good spirit but high tempo / atmosphere and
tough conditions meant intense 90 mins for the officials.
Determined to keep the game flowing and players responded well.
Brave to play on several times in a row - temptation is always
to panic and give one - but was happy to let game breathe,
judging that players were not likely to react or retaliate. YCs
all spot on and judged his involvement perfectly. Think Webb was
the observer and would be amazed if he didnt give a very high
score. Always personally thought Pitana was a bit overrated, but
think Tello is a great ref. Deserves to go far in tournament -
suppose UEFA refs have to do very end games - but Id predict a
QF

Looks like the first yellow offerings from the officials in this
tournament 👊
