That is without a doubt the worst referee kit I have ever seen, |

however I�m sure someone will be able to find me a worse example |

mind you. |

Thought he had a good first half. Very fit and on the ball. |
|
Interesting Lineker mentioned the officials looking bit tense in |
|
tunnel - thought exactly the same! |

Great kit and great refereeing. |
|
Strongest performance of the tournament so far. |
|
German refereeing is not known for pace and energy, but Zwayer |
|
really brought that this evening. |
|
I'd be very surprised if he's not featured in the QFs onwards. |

Decided I really like the kit! |
|
Thought Zwayer had a very good game. Not a ref I�ve seen live |
|
before. Seemed very fit, sharp, in full control, and pleased to |
|
see a German ref who can operate without the intolerable long, |
|
loud blast on the whistle for every signal! All cards seemed |
|
spot on. Let game flow and didn�t fall for any theatrics - best |
|
example near the end when Albanian player went over looking for |
|
a foul. Will be pleased to have got through an Italy game with |
|
no hassle! Always a tough draw for the referee in any |
|
tournament! |
|
Interestingly, having watched all four games so far, it�s Oliver |
|
that seems out of kilter in approach with the other three, in my |
|
opinion. They seemed to let game flow more, waved away soft |
|
appeals for fouls. |

as ive commented on his CL performances , hes been excellent and |
|
tonight was no exception by Zwayer and his team |
|
he used be a referee i dreaded seeing as IIRC he was always |
|
erratic and card happy but since 2020 he has mellowed and |
|
estsblished himself as a brilliant referee and if he produces |
|
the goods next season i rate his chances of getting EL or CL |
|
final |

Late non-corner award aside, I thought he was very good, and |
|
yellow cards were all spot on. |
|
There was a time a couple of years ago where it looked like he |
|
was completely out of favour with UEFA, so am pleased he's |
|
managed to come back and show how good a referee he is.. |

I think the performances have gradually improved in the 4 |
|
matches so far. Zwayer very good; Oliver decent; Vincic ok but |
|
not totally convincing; Turpin disappointing with the KMIs |
|
counting against him. |
