Alas my atlas is not sufficiently detailed to show a town or
village called Wombles. I shall, of course, bow to bmb's
superior knowledge - a chap would be a fool not to.

Hmmmm 12 answers given so 2 more in addition to wombles are
incorrect! Could you maybe confirm which are the correct 9

It should now be 11 down, two further answers from Microscopist
have been added as an edit. All are correct, with the exception
of the one you mention - and that only needed to be more
specific.
