Callum Bateson has told Sky Sports that Everton will push as |
|
high as possible & hints at new signings in the near future. |
|
'Everton are a great team & David Moyes has done a great job |
|
getting in the top 7 or 8 every year, so I want to start from |
|
where he left off. I don't see why we shouldn't be getting top 8 |
|
with the likes of Fellaini, Pienaar, Jags, Jelavic & of course |
|
Bainsey! They're great players. We could sign a few players here |
|
& there possibly to add a bit of depth. Mirallas has obviously |
|
helped with pace on the right & Coleman is a cracking player, |
|
but a RB is something we want. We are also looking into a strong |
|
CF who will play behind Jelly & can help Fellaini. Fighting off |
|
intrest for top players is something Everton are used to in |
|
recent years & that will be important for us to keep hold of |
|
them, but Bill Kenwright has told me 'If the price is right'.. |
|
so I understand. We can aim high, but the likes of Man Utd & |
|
Chelsea will be strong. Im really looking forward to being |
|
Everton's manager.' |
