Introduction to the Academy

We, as an Academy, have a mission: to bring �occult� knowledge,
in the form of psychic skills, energy working, and magick, to
all people who wish to learn and are ready to do so.
This does not mean to make all knowledge public. Remember,
knowledge is power. Moreover, although a comic book character
said this, it has never been truer: �with great power comes
great responsibility�. This is why we teach greater
responsibility before we teach great power.
We do not give weapons to those whom are irresponsible, and
cannot follow the Academy's instructions or values.
As founding member of the Academy, I hereby state that we as an
Academy hold our values as evidence of what we stand for, what
we believe, and what we fight for.
We will strive to always teach those whom seek knowledge AND
seek to use it for the common benefit of all beings AND have the
inner power to do that without failure, to be taught that which
they desire to know, no matter how dangerous the knowledge.
We hope and hold true that all knowledge will be in the hands of
all things, in due time, once all beings have evolved enough to
learn these things.
Truth is knowledge, and truth is a right. Yet, as a right, it is
not free - we must pay for it with the responsibility of how to
use it and whom to share it with.
We believe that truth is a human right; however, it is one that
we earn, and one that cannot have any financial cost � it costs
more than what financial property can purchase, and can only be
deserved through worth of being.
Our motto: �Truth is our right, our guiding star, our dawn�s
light!�

Headmaster Edward Vasconcellos (a.k.a. EdVaz) leads the Academy,
to bring the birthright of humanity (knowledge and
enlightenment) back, in the hopes that this will rekindle the
spark of progress in the souls of humanity.
We lead a new kind of teaching in the occult; we attempt to
unite all other theories of magick under one single unified
theory (which we call The Great Unified Theory of Mysticism),
and attempt to decipher the secrets of magick to an extent which
no being has previously done before. We will attempt to get
magick down to a level of detail comparable to science itself.
