New member - me

I am 49 years old this year, and yes it feels old! I have been
playing computer games since they were made available. I have
been playing CoD4 since it came out and I have been an active
and donating member of a number of both Australian and US CoD4
Clans. First there was TAB (Totally Addicted Brothers) This
morphed into tK (Total Killers). I left that Aussie clan as they
were concentrating on scrim teams and I played for the fun of
the game. About six months later I joined RIP (Rest In Pieces) a
United States Clan. When some mates left to form another
breakaway clan that also ran a Low Gravity server, I followed my
friends and then joined SOB - (Shitty Old Bastards), When I left
the US clan I had a break for about 2 years. When I bumped into
an old friend from the STG Clan who was a high ranking member of
a new Clan in Australia called RBL (Rebel). Of which I joined
and started heavily recruiting for, During this time I brought
in around 40 new members as well as facilitated an advising
campaign for a new server and organised a scrim team for
Battlefield 3. During that period of time I was going thru a
divorce and the pressures of the clan as well as what was going
on in my private life, I decided to leave RBL. I have worked my
way up in all the clans, except tK and SOB as I was already a
known and trusted admin in the previous clans which these had
morphed from.
Cod4 and the clans that I have been involved with has allowed me
to make friends all over the world. That's what a lot of kids
don't realise, yeah sure the servers can be fun, but it's about
the relationships and friend ships which are formed within Clans
which makes the whole gamming experience the fun that it is.
CGI has a lot of fun servers, the only downside that I have come
across is that you don't have enough active admins on your
servers. Everyday I come across at least one bottom feeding low
life scumbag that wants to annoy others by cheating. And that
selfish attitude really annoys me. But hey! Like I said in the
beginning. I am an old guy, so I have earned the right to be
grumpy sometimes.
Hope I haven't bored you to much.
Happy Hunting all!!
