Question 2

In the previous verses in chapter 12, Paul explained the
importance of humility as we serve each other in the body of
Christ. He now gives a series of commands that define the daily
life of the believer. The first is to genuinely love others. Who
is the source of love, and how are we filled with love? See 1
John 4:16; Romans 5:5.

God is the source of love.
To abide= to remain stable or fixed in a state
When we remain fixed on Jesus, we are filled with his love.
We abide in love through the Holy Spirit (verse 13) So that
means for me that if I want to be filled with his love, I must
be filled with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Everyday I need
a fresh infilling so that I can in turn love others the way I
need to.
