| My Parents... | |
| By: ggnore Date: March 13, 2020, 12:15 pm | |

| Sometimes when I want to talk about things with my parents, they | |
| make up excuses to not talk with me. It can be either that my | |
| mom has anther headache or that my dad is just tired from | |
| working. After they say that sometimes, they go do stuff that | |
| they would enjoy like watch the TV or work on a home project. | |
| And at other times, they go straight to my sister and do stuff | |
| with her even though they said they needed space or a nap. I | |
| also want to talk with them about me transferring schools | |
| because I think that it would be good for me, but they just | |
| listen for a while and then start talking with themselves and my | |
| sister or they immediately shoot it down without me explaining | |
| anything. What should I do about this? | |

| Could you possibly talk to a school counselor and ask him/her if | |
| they could arrange for you to transfer to another school? And if | |
| they/you need your parents permission, maybe the counselor could | |
| ask for a meeting with both you and your parents? You could | |
| present your case and your parents would have to listen or else | |
| they'll look bad to the counselor. | |
| I'm so sorry that your parents make time for your sister but not | |
| for you. It's so unfair when parents play favorites, isn't it! | |
| It'll be their loss because when you're older and move out of | |
| the house, you may not have time for them anymore. | |
