Yeah, I must say that I was kind of worried when that Zooey
interview came out and she talked about the 1950s wife thing. I
remember thinking that maybe she wasn't really planning on
focusing on her acting career for a while. Glad things changed!

for those of you who don't watch dexter ... i don't know if i'd
rec watching the whole series. it's long! 8 seasons! in the
event you do however, feel free to skip s2. omg, worse season in
tv history. terrible, just TERRIBLE!

I'm oddly curious to see how many f-bombs Joy will drop on this
show. I have to catch up on the show as well before her episode.
I missed a ton of episodes in the past few seasons and Season 4
was the last time I was diligent in keeping up and reading
spoilers and such.

i guess it depends on what her character is like. rita for
example, hardly ever cussed. hehe, vs someone like deb whose
cussing is so outrageous, it's hilarious.

Thanks. I must say I have never watched the show before and I
was thinking about watching it from the beginning, but do you
think I'll be okay just watching S7? It just seems like a lot of
episode to watch even if each season has 12 or 13 episodes.

def watch s7 because it sets up s8 in a BIG BIG way. truthfully,
i thought s7 was kinda weak because i didn't like the main
villains but like i said, you'll want to know what's going on
between deb and dex (sibs) which will no doubt lead to the
finale. i might also rec s6 because there is a bit of set up for
s7 there (again, in relation to deb/dex) and i also really
really liked that season (the villains ... creepy!). more than
that, you can just wiki it to know what happened.
and of course, if you have no idea what the show is about, watch
at least some of s1 to get the general feel of the
show/characters. i'd say the show is pretty good at recapping at
the beginning of each episode to catch new viewers.

Does anyone know how many episodes Joy will be on and when do
they start filming the last season? I tried to watch this show
but i could not get into it.

It will be more than 2 episodes i think but I don't know any
more than that. They've already started filming. I think Joy
should be filming now as they are filming 8.04 which is her
character's first episode.
