The Front of the House

A large gate that you have to pick open to get in, leading up to
the front of the house with a yard filled with low level
monsters.

Kaya waited just outside the gate in the shadows. The hood of
her cloak shielded the moonlight from finding it's way to her
pale skin. Instead, the young woman simply looked like she was
shadow. Inky, dark and hidden. This was the point, in fact.

Miles landed on a fence perch, not too far away from the house.
He looked at the hooded figure, not knowing who it was. He
didn't feel like asking questions.

Kaya looked from inside the hood of her cloak at Haro. Her eyes
are sitting at something very close to a midnight blue. "You
don't do stealth do you?" She asked him with a smirk. Her voice
was pitched to a low whisper, as she shook her head.
"I'm pretty sure he probably just let anything in that yard know
we're here." Kaya addressed Miles, her voice still whispery, but
her tone wry. Though her voice was soft, it is easily heard,
almost as if her words are carried by the wind itself.
She looked at both. "I'm pretty sure Spidey's arachnid sense can
keep track of me, but are you gonna be able to track me once I
get the cloak's magicks going?" Her question was pointed mainly
at Haro.

Miles watched Haro and shook his head. "Nice going, Captain
Obvious." He said, jumping off of his perch, and listening to
what the game plan would be.

Kaya gave a nod. "Okay. I've been in that yard a couple of
times. I've seen the tracks of things that are supposed to be in
there. They look like they won't be too dangerous, but I'm not
taking chances. I havent yet been able to get a read on the
grounds themselves, let alone on the house. But if the things
outside are any indicator, well my empathness is gonna put me in
the middle of hell going in there. As in, it's gonna hurt." Kaya
doesn't seem the least bit put off by the notion.
"I can handle myself. I've had practice making sure that
emotions can't make me head blind or overwhelm me. So no worries
there. But, first plan of action is getting to that front door.
It's night, dark shit comes out at night. Evil shit likes the
shadows. So we kinda gotta go under the radar. Who knows what's
out there." Kaya looked directly at Miles when she said that
last part. They both had something of an idea of what might
possibly be out there.
"When I use the magicks of this thing, you're gonna have to use
senses other than your sight, because this was made to fool
that. This cloak was made to fool most of the normal senses, and
even some that aren't normal. So, you-" She pointed at Haro,
holding out her hand, a delicate chain dangling, a pendant of
some sort at the bottom. "Are gonna take this. This will make
sure you know where I am."
"Spidey, you're gonna be my eyes. With that venom suit on, you
can move pretty easily without being noticed. So, you're gonna
lead the way. Haro, stay close, but be on your guard. You're
pullin' up the rear. My ass is stayin' in the middle. Cuz the
sorceress doesn't belong in front or in back." She smirked
slightly, her hood pushed back from her face a bit, so both
could see her face.
"Sound good? Anybody else got something to adds?" She looked at
both, fully willing to take suggestions.
