| Inaccurate Speedo | |

| Now here's a thing; my speedo shows roughly half the speed I'm | |
| actually doing... Not that I'm doing a lot of course, but a pain | |
| when in a 30 limit with speed cameras. | |
| Presume it's just a buggered speedo, or can there be another | |
| reason? | |

| Have you fitted bigger wheels? Or different diffs? | |

| Could be worn where the speedo cable fits in to the rear of the | |
| transfer box, a new cable normally sorts it or if not its the | |
| drive gear that has worn which can be quite common. | |

| Would say the speedo needs overhauling. The magnetic cup that | |
| spins around needs to be re-magnetised. | |

| I'll try a new cable and see if that sorts it. | |
| Is the drive gear in the speedo unit or the transfer box? | |
| Would a speedo overhaul be a relatively easy job? | |

| Its in the rear of the transfer box dude, where the cable fits | |
| in. Speedo is quite technical and can cost quite a bit t have | |
| refurbed. | |

| Speedo drive housing tight, pre load correct? I'm thinking the | |
| drive works on friction? Not enough friction= not enough turny | |
| action? | |
