Stile End in series ones |

Last Saturday four of us took our Land Rovers over Gatesgarth |
|
Pass and Stile End. We meet some Disco's on Stile End using |
|
waffle boards! |
|
We didn't do so bad considering or landies ranged from 1954-1958 |
|

Excellent! That is not an easy lane. I have to admit that when |
|
Chippers, Allan and myself drove it we did need a waffle board |
|
on one occasion but in mitigation the lane was very wet so there |
|
was almost no traction. |

It also looks as though there has been some repairs done since |
|
we did it. Loose rocks from where the wall had collapsed were |
|
all over the lane as I recall. |
