	superb result and performance from the lads as we came back from
	our break all refreshed we this result we sit in 3rd place only
	1 point from top spot but also only 2 from 5 place so its very
	tight at the moment and we need to stay within the top 5 if we
	want to try and win the league

	Golden Eagles FC claim 3 points at home against Darlington All
	Stars following the mid-season break. The Game finished 3-1 to
	the title chasers, but it could have so easily been worse for
	the visitors. Eagles blitzed the All Stars goal with 38 shots,
	but A. Bartlett made a monstrous 22 saves and was only beaten 3
	times, while the rest were wide.
	Eagles were relentless in the opening 25 minutes, but it took
	them until the 26th minute for Eagles to find a break-through.
	As Angelo Nazari scored with a powerful header from Rodrigo
	Des�bato's lovely floating pass. Eagles were 2-0 up a minute
	later, new signing Dustan Huevo scoring from Diog Guillems'
	cross, what a fine debut the Frenchman is having.
	G. Naylor pulled a goal back a couple of minute before the
	break, from what would be All Star's only shot on goal for the
	whole game. Eagles then had their penalty appeals ignored by the
	referee in the 54th minute, T. Galbraith clearly bought down
	Pavel Chernyshev, but it wasn't given! Terrible decision from
	the ref there!
	Eagles' 2 goal lead wasn't restored until the 82nd minute, with
	Dustan Huevo scorning again. The Frenchman looked more like his
	compatriot Dar�o Bourrin than a centre-back, what a solo effort!
	it finished 3-1 to Eagles and the win sees them climb up to 4th
	in division one, a tasty 2 points behind new leaders Rael
	Nerrad. It was difficult to pick a winner for man of the match,
	but it went to Angelo Nazari despite only playing 60 odd
	minutes, his work rate however was phenomenal.

	It seems that 13 is indeed an unlucky number for Reykjavik
	Reapers, as they suffered their first defeat in the league and
	their 13 game unbeaten run came to an end. Cockney Cockrells
	claimed the scalp with a fine 3-1 home win, Reapers played
	poorly and rather than looking refreshed from their break, they
	were slow and sluggish.

	Anders Streng scored in the 11th minute to give Cockrells the
	lead, as his hot bobbled over a helpless Rafael Alvarado.
	Reapers hit back a couple of minutes later as Dimitri Stenvall
	turned the ball into his own net, what a fool! 1-1! Pedro
	B'lista restored the home side's lead in the 40 minute, as the
	Brazilian scored on his debut.
	Reapers spent much of the second half trying to find another
	equaliser, but it just wouldn't come. their task was made even
	harder with 5 minutes to go, Aksel Mikkelsen was shown a
	straight red for what appeared to be a perfectly well timed
	tackle! The ref was having a poor game indeed and that terrible
	decision cost Reapers dearly, as Handle Funky took advantage of
	the extra man and scored with only a couple of minutes to go!
	After the match a disappointed looking Dave Rosewell commented
	"We've ridden out luck a couple of times int he league and it
	has finally run out. Cockrells played very well and they
	deserved the 3 points. Not to take anything away from the, the
	ref had a poor game, he made bad decisions for both sides."
	Despite the defeat, Reapers are still 10 points clear with
	Highland Rangers in 2nd on 27 points and Cockrells a further
	point in 3rd.
