	Darlington 0-2 Sarnians
	This was a proper nail biter!! We started brightly and applied
	pressure from successive corners, before Reid Fuego threaded a
	ball through the eye of a needle into the stride of Mark Golding
	who sprung the the offside trap and equally put a precise shot
	into the back of the net to put us 1-0 up after 15 minutes.
	We were fortunate to maintain our lead into half time with
	Darlington hitting the. Woodwork twice in two minutes.
	Darlington were on the front foot for much of the second half,
	forcing 4 corners in 3 minutes at one stage, but we maintain our
	defensive discipline well.
	The longer the game went on, the less threatening the attacking
	pressure from Darlington was, but in the closing moments
	Darlington again hit the woodwork twice in succession before we
	countered and Tanaka sealed victory with a neatly taken 90th
	minute effort.

	i knew this would be a hard game as i had to rotate my team
	around due to fitness issues but to lose the game deep in injury
	is hard to take and all i can do is plod on and try bounce back
	in the next game and hopefully keep in touch with the teams at
	the top

	Golden Eagles FC got back to winning ways at home, as they beat
	Robbaillie Escocia 2-0 in what was a fairly quiet game. Escocia
	had set up super defensively, but this gave Eagles a lot of time
	on the ball (with 69% possession) and it was only a matter of
	time before they broke through.
	It took until the 34th minute for Eagles to find the back of the
	net, Angelo Nazari flicked the ball onto Diog Guillems and he
	smashed the ball home. The Portuguese winger then beat the
	off-side trap in the 59th minute to grab his second of the game,
	2-0 and takes his tally to 13fpr the season. The game finished
	2-0 as Robbaillie only managed a single shot on goal.
	Unsurprisingly, Diog Guillems was awarded with the man of the
	match, with a lovely brace from midfield.

	Reykjavik Reapers added another 2 points to their lead with a
	1-0 win away to Ancona Angels. Despite being unmanaged Angels
	looked decent and made Reapers work for the win. Reapers will be
	happy to be back to winning ways however, after getting knocked
	out of the EA KO cup in mid week. Certainly a morale boost for
	the team.
	Enzo Fratelli gave the visitors the lead after 11 minutes, with
	some lovely Italian flare from the centre-back. As he went on
	one of his excursions, flicking the ball past a defender before
	burying his shot past Geo Gallinni. Somehow the game only
	finished 1-0 to Reapers, but Gallinni looked handy in goal.
	Fratelli's solo effort along with his defensive display
	certainly earned him the man of the match award.
	The main reason Reaper extended their lead to a might 12 points
	though, was 2nd place Thames Ironworks got beaten by Cockney
	Cockrells (who take their spot). Also with Reapers being a 12
	game un-beaten run, manager Dave Rosewell won the manger of the
	month award for June.
