Nikara go for three in Hellhounds clash
After last weeks 4-2 victory away at Thames Ironworks the Nikara
Dragons are returning back to Sinegard Stadium to face off
against the high flying Helsinki Hellhounds. The game is part of
a back to back acid test of whether the Dragons are actually any
good or not as they play Hellsinki and the Cockney Cockrells. If
the Dragons can defeat the Hellhounds it will mean 3 wins on the
bounce and the chance to finish the season with a bang. Defeat
sends them back to square one.
What lies ahead
Unfortunately for the Dragons the road to three consecutive wins
is via Finland and the highly touted Hellsinki Hellhounds. For a
while back in December that looked like an improbable task and
Hellsinki smashed everyone on route to manager of the month but
since January there's been a mixed bag with impressive victory
being followed by unexpected defeat.
What is clear is that the Hellsinki team is stacked full of top
talent. Near enough everyone is multi skilled with Reece Evans
the star man in defence at 16/14 rated, ably supported by
Belisarious and Dyachenko. The midfield is insane with Tanaka,
Honest, Shepherd and Shynkarenko all offering 16 passing.
DeDavis Roy is the last superstar in midfield with 13 rated
tackling and shooting and 15 passing. This collection of multi
stated freaks means they can line up in a multitude of ways and
cause significant trouble.
The last problem to solve is the 18 rated freak up front who
bizarrely doesn't score as much as the 13 rated teenager but is
still a major problem. All this adds up to a team that can give
anyone a thrashing at any point and if you compare the two teams
it looks like it'll be a long day.
What did the manager say
"Honestly we are proper screwed here. Can't see any way round
this problem. I've told the lads to just go out the night before
and get battered cos at least then the hangover will dampen the
nerves"
It beggars belief how this clown got the job

[move][glow=red,2,300]Nikara Dragons vs Helsinki
Hellhounds[/glow][/move]
Overview
Helsinki had a fantastic result last week, but that great work
could all be undone with a poor result this weekend. Consolidate
and they have every chance of taking top spot. Lose and they
could find themselves with a mountain to climb with just two
rounds of games left. Cockney in 4th are playing Escocia (1st)
so there could be a chance for Helsinki to climb 3 points clear.
Looking at the other side of the coin though... Nikara sit 6
points behind Helsinki and will think... if we win this one we
close the gap on points to 3 points, and close the goals
difference and Cockney could feasibly lose too. Nikara just
might start dreaming of automatic promotion is they can win this
one!
What are the book makers saying?
Nikara win - 40%
Helsinki win - 36%
Draw - 24%
Nikara by virtue of playing at home are the favourites but, but
it is very close between the two sides. Tough one to call
Team news
Helsinki are back at full strength with Shephard having served
his ban for three yellows this season. Shynkarenko, Kiss and
Harrisjones are all one yellow away from a suspension. Back up
midfielder Kelav is missing for Nikkara but that shouldn't cause
too many concerns.
Form guide
Helsinki Hellhounds WLDLDW (league form)
Helsinki are back on the winning trail and will hope to keep
this going and secure back to back victories for the first time
since December.
Nikara Dragons DLDLWW (league form)
Nikara's form looks to be improving too. Remarkably for the
second week in a row, the opponents actually have an identical
record to Helsinki with 8 points from the past 6 games.
Players to watch
Honzo now looks like a real threat up front for Nikara. Helsinki
will hope that forwards Kiss and Harrisjones will remain on fire
in front of goal.
Manager's mouthful
"We may have conceded four last time out, but I don't care
provided we keep scoring more than our opponents. We'll continue
to deploy Harrisjones further up field and hope that partnership
between him and Kiss continues to develop as it has done so well
to date."

Kingfisher Dolphins
United 1908
The new managers 2nd hand in charge and it's a home game against
a united side who boast a strong main skill across are of there
side. Fisher find themselves on the wrong side of two
suspensions in defence which will make the sides progress in
today's game pretty tough.
Fisher lost their first game with the new manager in charge and
with the two suspensions this week prediction are being made
with many saying another loss is on the cards.
Our surveys have supporters and experts a like looking like this
Win % : 20%
Draw % : 10%
Loss % : 70%
So as we can see fans and our resident experts really aren't in
favour of the fisher side they all love and look forward to
watching week in week out.
Training has been intense in the fisher camp this week, as the
manager is trying to stamp his style on the sides game play. But
the manager is said to finding it hard to pin point what's best
for the club tactically as he has said the club needs additions
to progress.
An interview with the manager at the midweek point has really
been an eye opener for the press team. His vision for the club
isn't going to be one that happens over night. It may even take
a few seasons but he is said to be determined to get his side
where he wants them. The only thing the manager is said to be
trying to still get his head around is all the rules that are
surrounding the league as they are slightly different to
anything he's been used to before. With minimal playing time etc
needed, how he decides on his team week in week out could be
problematic. But also on transfers and actually does the shade
need huge amounts of depth within the club to make it work.
The club's owners have been tasked with finding a bigger
sponsorship deal for the club and the highest bidder will win a
5 year deal with the club. But it's not going to stop there are
part of the club is going to be sold off to the fans to raise
even more funds and to also give the fans an opportunity to come
along with the clubs hopeful success. Though we shall see if
this actually goes through as it's been spoken about before but
never actually went through with.

Its coming down to crunch time for Golden Eagles FC and their
chase of the division 2 title as they host Sky Blues at a snow
covered Eagles Stadium (thankfully the roof is closed). It maybe
-20 degrees outside, but the atmosphere inside will surely be on
fire, as Eagles sit a tantalising 2 points behind Robbaillie
Escocia. The leaders themselves face a tough away game to
automatic promotion hopefuls Cockney Cockrells, Eagles fans will
be hoping their rivals can do them a favour, while at the same
time getting a good result against Sky Blues.
Eagles escaped last week's away draw to AFC Coventry without any
suspensions and have a full squad who are well rested. A bit of
rotation sees Alessio Kovacic back in his usual attacking
midfield position behind the front 2 of Pavel Chernyshev and
Jans Goisthalt. Min So Jouy drops to the bench and Angelo Nazari
switches to his empty spot. Elsewhere their back 4 remains the
same, Kai Matsumoto beginning to find his feet after a slightly
slow start to his Eagles career since his move from Nikara
Dragons.
Sky Blues who sit in 9th spot have defender Marcus Hall missing
through suspension. No doubt their manager Andy "Burty" Burton
will be hoping his team can do the double over Eagles, having
beaten them 2-4 earlier in the season at Highfield Road.
However, Eagles have become a different animal since their last
meeting, remaining unbeaten in the league as they push for the
title.
"We got to get the 3 points in this game to keep our chance of
our first trophy in our first season alive. Anything less than
that and a good result from Robbaillie Escocia would certainly
destroy our chances. We have 2 home and 1 away game during these
last 3 weeks, including a home tie against Robbaillie on the
last day of the season. You could say our fate is still very
much in our own hands at this point."
We already mentioned that Cockney Cockrells (who sit 4th) face
Robbaillie at home today. While 3rd placed Helsinki Hellhounds
(who have gotta be feeling good after their 7-4 win over
Cockrells last week) are away to Nikara Dragons. Hellhounds can
cement their position in the top 3 with a good result here, but
Dragons will be equally hungry, as they are only 3 points behind
a play-off spot.
Things are certianly close with only 5 points seprating the top
4, with booking putting Eagles as odds-on favourites to win the
title at 4/6, while Robbaillie are 7/4, Hellhounds are 3/1 and
Cockrells are 5/1 (odds taken from The Hellhounds Howler)

United 1908 go into their away tie to Kingfisher Dolphins this
week with nothing to lose really. They still have the chance to
make up a position or too. However, their opponents today with
be tough to beat at home, as they chase promotion. While United
are 2 points ahead of Sky Blues and 5 behind 7th placed AFC
Coventry, they still have a 100/1 shot of making the play-offs,
but they need 9 points from 3 games and for Dolphins to lose 3
on the bounce.
United have a full squad with no injuries or suspensions,
although a couple of players are still short on minutes.
Dolphins on the other hand are missing 2 defenders through
suspension, R Mayse and Kim Uhl Pohl. United are going to have
to keep their top scorer Harvey Adkins (with 22 goals this
season) on a short leash for sure.
"We don't expect much from this game, so we will be happy with a
point. The most important thing for us really, is trying to
finish as high as possible and for the lads to make up their
minutes."

Wolves vs Sarnians
We name an unchanged side from the team that lost 3-1 to Man Utd
as we continue to blood our youngsters in the remainder of the
league campaign.
Hopefully there is an improved performance from that game as we
take on a struggling Wolves.
