	Highland Rangers 2 - 0 Helsinki Hellhounds
	Match overview
	Really tough one to watch for the Helsinki fans as the manager
	got it all kinds of wrong. Tactics advantage was given up from
	the off and Highland in all honesty should have routed a poor
	Hellhound side. It was only thanks to Hikkara that the score was
	kept so low.
	How they lined up
	Helsinki went for 3 at the back and the extra man in midfield.
	Choosing attacking football designed to go after their
	opponents.
	Highland went with four. At the back and counter attacking
	football which gave them a crucial edge when coupled with home
	advantage.
	Match action
	It�s too painful to relive the barrage of shots which came out
	way. Suffice to say that Highland got a deserved breakthrough
	after 32 mins through McKinnon and Helsinki we�re relieved to
	make it to half time at just 1 - 0.
	Into the second half and whilst Helsinki were having some
	chances, it was Highland who got the all important second goal
	through Ady Williams.
	If Zuya or Louvre had had their shooting boots on it could have
	been much much worse.
	Manager's mouthful
	We�re suffering a bit from having to play some players in order
	to hit minute targets but there is only one reason for today�s
	result. It�s all on me. I set us wrong. The other manager got it
	right and we were beaten by the better side.
	Man of the match
	Only one candidate put forward after that display. Hikkara�s 14
	saves kept the score respectful. Thank for that at least and
	preventing the goals difference from taking a hammering.

	Nikara give a good showing of themselves in loss to the Eagles
	The game was meant to be a thrashing, and in the end it wasn't
	particularly close, but the Nikara Dragons fought valiantly in
	front of a packed out Eagle Park. The home side took the game
	3-1 with a goal before half time and two in the second half
	though many were wondering how the game got so far away from the
	Dragons.
	The Dragons went a goal down in the 37th minute in a game that
	was evenly balanced, and things went from bad to worse as the
	Golden Eagles struck again immediately after half time. It
	looked like this might be the end, but Ayho Kushimo immediately
	struck back with a wonder goal following a precise pass from
	Yohan Yobari.
	With the comeback firmly in the mind of the Dragons players, the
	referee decided it was time to ruin everyone's fun, sending off
	former captain Ka Jo Lundrum. It was a woeful decision born out
	of confusion from a referee that is clearly both incompetent and
	a fraud.
	Even down to 10 men the Nikara Dragons fought on bravely until
	the game ended as a contest on 70 minutes when the referee again
	decided he would be the centre of attention giving the Eagles a
	penalty. In fairness the penalty was expertly put away by
	Chernyshev giving the striker his 20th goal of the season.
	Almost nothing happened after the penalty except for a comical
	moment when crooked referee made another stinking decision
	sending off former Dragon Matsumoto. Many in the crowd thought
	the referee likely thought Matsumoto still played for Nikara
	which is why he sent him off though that might not stand up to
	scrutiny.
	Whilst the result ultimately went the Eagles way, Nikara can be
	fairly proud they stood toe to toe with them. They edged the
	possession battle 52-48 and had very similar shots on goal
	(14/12) and shots on target (7/6). Ultimately playing almost 40
	minutes with one less player and the superior finishing from the
	Golden Eagles was the difference.
	Manager speaks out
	The Nikara Dragons manager was quick to credit the Golden Eagles
	after the game saying that they are a top team and predicting
	that they would finish the season in top spot. We are proud of
	the boys for there efforts and feel they are starting to
	understand our methods. On another day we might have got a point
	but today was not that day.

	and my poor form continues as we lose 2 0 at home and lose our
	6th game of the season not good enough have to do better if i
	want to win anything cant afford to lose any more games as we
	only sit 4 points from top spot so we still have a chance but we
	have to start winning again

	Sarnians 2-2 Sunset Knights
	What a lesson in resilience for the young side. The game was all
	a little quiet until the 27th minute, Tommy Genge was sent off
	and the Sunset scored 2 in the next 2 minutes.
	Down to ten men, a brace behind and half the side teenagers it
	was Eddie Staggs who led the huddle before kick off. The young
	Irishman taking the game by the scruff of the neck and imposing
	himself in the number 10 role.
	His influence grew as the second half progressed and he netted
	himself 2 goals and the man of the match award.
	Skittles was keen to praise the 18 year old after the game �he�s
	a young lad and has needed to be a bit more patient than he�d
	probably like for his age, but he showed his true qualities
	today and deserved his second MotM in just his 10th start of the
	season�

	Highland Rangers 2 - 0 Helsinki
	Hellhounds
	Highland fans must pinching themselves to make sure they are
	awake. Following no wins in the league this season they now have
	won their last three games and have now moved off the bottom of
	the table.
	The team put in a great performance and were all over there
	opponents and maybe will be a little disappointed that the
	margin of victory was not by a greater margin as the managed 34
	attempts on goal with 18 being on target. The score line was
	down to the great performance of there opponents goalkeeper.
	The end it was a win secured by a goal in either half from
	Haer_McKinnon on 32 and Ady_Williams on 68. The manager was full
	of praise for his team as they were also missing two of their
	starting midfielders due to suspension. He also said that this
	is probably the best all round performance he has got out of the
	team since he joined. Also that now there is a hunger from every
	player in the team to be part of the starting line up. He has
	praised the fans for there support when thing were not going
	well now hopefully the team can repay some of this support.
	The team will now be looking for there forth win in a row at
	Nikara Dragons next weekend and wait and see if they can
	continue to move up the table.

	It wasn't the best of performances today by Golden Eagles FC,
	but they still managed to beat Nikara Dragons 3-1. A victory
	that was sorely needed after yet more cup heartbreak. The
	scoreline was perhaps a little harsh on the Japanese team, as
	the game was fairly even, Eagles has 14 shots compared to
	Dragons' 12. The away side had a slight edge on possession
	(52/48) and made more key tackles (7/1), while Eagles made more
	key passes (14/8).
	Dragons had set up fairly defensively, expecting an onslaught
	with 5 at the back. This made them a little tough for Eagles to
	break down, but home side finally took the lead in the 37th
	minute through Angelo Nazari with a fine solo effort.
	Alessio Kovacic doubled their lead 2 minutes after half time,
	after some nice work from Jans Goisthalt. Former Eagles player
	Oscar Marconato almost immediately pulled a goal back, but his
	effort was well saved by Kamil Uzbaezanov. For some reason the
	ref gave a goal kick? He made some weird decisions today!
	Dragons did however manager to pull a goal back a minute later,
	as Ayho Kushimo latched onto Y. Yobari's lob. Uzbaezanov looked
	clearly annoyed with himself, as he though he could have saved
	it.
	Dragons then went down to 10 men, KJ. Lundrum was given his
	matching orders in the 54th minute for bringing down Angelo
	Nazari.
	Eagles then made a triple change on the hour mark, to rotate
	their tired players. Min So Jouy, loanee Andro Rachveli and
	Milos Potkozarač replaced Dar�o Bourrin, Rodrigo Des�bato
	and Jans Goisthalt.
	Darius Zachariadis then fouled Pavel Chernyshev in the box in
	the 70th minute as he looked to hold up the ball and the ref
	pointed to the spot! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot,
	no idea what the keeper was doing their. The Russian then cool
	converted the penalty with a powerful shot that left the Greek
	keeper with no chance. 3-1 to Eagles and surely no way back for
	the 10 men away side.
	There was still late drama to come though, as former Dragons
	player Kai Matsumoto fouled Oscar Marconato a minute from time.
	It was his 2nd bookable offence and Eagles finished the match
	with 10 men also!
	Although it wasn't a classic from the home side, Alessio
	Kovacic, Angelo Nazari and Pavel Chernyshev all put in great
	performances. The latter was awarded the Man of the Match and
	Chernyshev's penalty also took his tally to 20 for the season,
	surely the golden boot award is coming his way?
	"This is just what we needed, it'll give back some confidence to
	the lads with only 5 games remaining. Chris and his Dragons put
	in a great performance and I have to agree with my counterpart,
	that the ref's performance was fairly poor today."
	Eagles were the only team in the top 4 to win yesterday,
	throwing the title race wide open! They are now second, 2 points
	behind Leaders Robbaillie Escocia lost 0-3 to AFC Coventry.
	Cockney Cockrells dropped down to 3rd, (level on points with
	Eagles) after a shot defeat to Thames Ironworks. While Helsinki
	Hellhounds remain in 4th, but dropped 3 points behind their
	Finnish rivals after a defeat to Highland Rangers, who have
	totally turned their season around.

	United 1908 got their 2nd win a row, this time against close
	rivals Sky Blue with a narrow 1-0 victory in Coventry. Despite
	Blues having slightly more possession (55/45%), United hasld
	more shots (13/5) key tackles (9/8) and key passes (14/6). Blues
	clearly missed main man Dion Dublin, who was suspended for the
	match.
	Psotos Illyte scored the only goal of game in the 47th minute,
	after captain P. Dneprov picked out the Bulgarian with a pin
	point pass. The game got even worse for Blues in the 70 minute
	as Tupe Omsouto had to be stretchered off. Then Mason Paint got
	sent off 12 minutes later, capping off a bad day at the office
	for the home side.
	Joachim Eid put in a commanding performance in the United
	defence and that earned him the man of the match award.
	"3rd clean sheet in 3 weeks and a hard fought away win, can't
	ask for more than that. The boys confidence is going each week."
	The win takes United to 8th, above Blues, 3 points ahead of
	their rivals and 2 points behind 7th placed Nikara Dragons. They
	alo now sit 8 points from a potential play-off spot.
