Darlington All Stars vs Sarnians
Well, we have made it to the business end of the season and
there are just two games left to play. The list of permutations
is almost endless but its a three horse race for the title and
we hold a one point advantage and the superior goal difference
and goals scored which will give us the tag of favourites.
But given we play Kyushu Yakuza on the final game of the season,
it really is anybodys race to win.
We have been in this position before and have tasted both the
success and disappointment of both winning and missing out on
the title and so from our perspective the players are enjoying
the fact we are playing good football. There was a strong
showing in the league cup and the squad players show that the
future is equally as bright as the now.
We travel to Darlington All Stars and field our strongest 11
with a number of players returning to the starting lineup. Codi
Domino is back at number 10 hoping to take his tally onwards
from the 20 goals he already has this season although Lazlo Kiss
looks to have won the club golden boot currently standing on 26.
We are optimistic about our chances as Darlington will be
missing Tenzin Ourlay in defence and the press report suggest a
number of fitness issues for a group of their anticipated
starting 11
Im sure plenty of the fans in the stands will have their eyes
on apps and ears on Radio feeds to see how Golden Eagles are
fairing against Rael Nerrad and how Yakuza are fairing against
Pompey Chimes, but the manager and team will only be focused on
the pitch they are playing on and what the scoreboard is
showing.
