My Grandchildren and I had a lot of fun a few years ago putting |
|
the Eitech Ferris Wheel together over about four afternoons. The |
|
geared transmission works brilliantly to slow it down to a |
|
realistic pace. |

Soooo....many gearing options, I count 3 units with dozens (if |
|
not more) choices of different gear ratios. The beauty of the |
|
"Big Red" transmission is its got the heft, to not need to be |
|
anchored down by anything. the Jensen #55 is the perfect choice |
|
for powering this fine Ferris wheel, on its own it could have |
|
many a throttle range required for this set up. |

It was a lot of fun turning the #55's flywheel and feeling all |
|
the different gear combos'. |
|
Felt like a kid when we used to put our bikes upside down and |
|
spin the peddles with our hands and change the gears :) |
