That is totally astonishing, but I can't quite figure why they |

would want to plow soooooo deep? |
|
All I can figure is that they are harvesting Peat, then perhaps |
|
it would make some sense! |
|
Does look like they are burning Peat bricks in the engines, so |
|
maybe that is what is up here!?!? |
|
BTW ... really like the accompanying music!!! |

by the copyright date it appears to have been shot in 1966, also |
|
the more modern tractor supplying water & coal, & the dozer in |
|
the background. this would have been a labor intensive & very |
|
costly operation back in the day. can anyone tell me how they |
|
jog the plow over for the next cut? |
