Hi All |
|
Does anyone remember who stocks a replacement tail light lens |
|
? .. might has faded quite badly and so no longer legal . I |
|
have looked at gutsibits and valpolini and the usual ebay |
|
stores but i thought i had seen then somewhere once before |
|
while searching for parts . |

Try searching for V7 Sport or 750S - they use the same rear |
|
light unit (as the Militare anyway) - I checked on mine. |

You could get some red opaque spray paint and spray the inside |
|
of the lens.I have done this in the past on other bikes,and if |
|
you get the right paint the results are not bad. |

There are two different types of tail lamp on the NF. The |
|
original and stock one should be round, but a lot of bikes have |
|
the same support bracket, with a later and more rectangular CEV |
|
lamp. |
|
The CEV one is being reproduced in Taiwan, and you see them for |
|
sale on eBay.com: |

The lens for the round lamp comes up every few weeks on eBay, |

but I can't remember the supplier, although IIRC it's one of the |

German ones. |

My bike has what i thought to be the original round lens |
|
which is flat rather than deep and fits on the housing like |
|
a cap It is CEV 8191 like this |

This is the same lamp housing as mine , where the number |
|
plate lens is in the housing rather than all in one like the |
|
larger round or later square lens |
